ArriveCan on northbound cruise from Vancouver

Recommended Posts

We are sailing from Vancouver and terminating in Seward.  However we just received an email from Royal Caribbean that states we need to fill out an additional form on the Arrive Can app because we are starting and ending in Vancouver.(We are not)  The email says that we are supposed to fill out one form because we are flying into Canada and then another form for arrival into Canada by boat.  I am very confused because we are not arriving back into Canada by boat.  I called customer service and was told just to ignore the email.  I'm not convinced Royal Caribbean knows what is going on.  Anyone else recently take a northbound only cruise have any insight?

You will need to have ArriveCAN filled out for your arrival to Canada for your cruise. You DO NOT need to fill it out for a northbound cruise that terminates in Seward.

This email is just Royal IT not being able to differentiate between one way and closed loop sailings so they send out shotgun emails to anyone booked on a cruise from Vancouver.

That sums it up nicely, "Royal IT" is all that needs to be said.  A shame, really.  Also, the incompetency of the "Phone Answerers" in Miami.  Partially trained and fully lazy!
