My Time Dining Times

Ok, to preface the question ..... we are trying to get another couple to book with us for our September cruise on Grandeur ...

 

They are new to cruising so naturally, we showed them our Cruise Compasses so they can get an idea as to how much there really is to do......then the following question came up.....

 

When the My Time Dining has times that say 5:30 - 8:30 (I don't have the Compass in front of me as I type this so I'm not exact on the times, but that's irrelevant to the question) ---- does that mean you have to be FINISHED by 8:30, or could you show up at, say, 8:25 and be able to enjoy a nice meal?

That's a great question.  I've always assumed that you would have to be seated by that time, but I could be wrong.  Perhaps someone will know the answer for sure.  I'm commented here mainly because I want to follow this thread.

You just need you be seated by the closing time. And in actuality, the times usually go until at least 9 or 9:30. I only to MTD and never make a reservation, so I have a lot of experience with this.

Thanks Doc ..... That's sort of what I was hoping for ..... Being that it's just my wife and I, getting a table without a reservation really isn't a problem, but this was a question that I, myself, was also curious about.
