Going on a cruise in November with my two sons.  When I researched and purchased the cruise I thought some of the teen activities would be fun for my sons.  However, it just hit me that my oldest son will turn 18 before we cruise, though he is still a senior in high school.

Is RC really strict about the 12-17 policy, or will they let an 18 yr old high school sr. participate in those activities (or access those areas ....like the game room)?

From what I understand, they enforce the rule because 18 is an adult and mixing with minors and adults is not a great idea.  Certainly the teen club areas are age restricted. I never tried "crashing" the teen flowrider event that is listed on the FlowRider, so cannot speak with certainty.

He won't be allowed into the teen club; however, that won't prevent him from hanging out with other teens or engaging with them on the sports court.  If by "game room" you mean the video arcade, that's open to everybody.
