STB7481 Posted January 1, 2020 Report Posted January 1, 2020 My wife and I are taking a quick 3 night cruise on Mariner in March. We will be getting in late the night before and just staying at the MCO Hyatt. Planning to get an Uber/Lyft to the port Canaveral that morning. On disembarkation day we have a 12:15 flight. Would a car service be more reliable for us instead of waiting to get an Uber/Lyft back? I’ve her used a ride share from the port and not sure what the process, is how long of a wait there may be, or even where to go to be picked up. Quote
NerdDad Posted January 1, 2020 Report Posted January 1, 2020 At MCO, we've generally always done a scheduled car service instead of Uber/Lyft given the distance to the airport. In ports like Miami, we generally stick to Uber/Lyft because there are plenty of them and it isn't very far from the airport. Quote
Matt Posted January 2, 2020 Report Posted January 2, 2020 I have never had any issues getting a car from Lyft at the port, and I'd say in all cruises, I rely on ride sharing as my go-to option. Quote
STB7481 Posted January 2, 2020 Author Report Posted January 2, 2020 Thanks, Matt. Is there a designated area for pickup that I would need to head to? Do you wait until you clear customs to request a ride? Quote
