Matt Posted January 27, 2014 Report Share Posted January 27, 2014 The port area is fine although there aren't any beaches or pools here (although I did hear the Margaritaville is/was building a pool). Obviously you can book excursions to nearby beaches either through Royal Caribbean or via a third party. Either way, the excursion people meet you inside the port area and drive you out to the beach. When we were there, we did the Hilton Rose Hall, which is an all-inclusive resort that has a beach and extensive pool area. Granted the price is higher because you're paying for the drinks/food included.
