TImandRacehlle Posted November 8, 2019 Report Posted November 8, 2019 We are going on our first cruise in December to the Southern Caribbean on the Freedom of the Seas. We are interested in doing some local excursions instead of excursions with RCCL. Would like to know if anyone suggests renting scooters or cars and tour the islands at the ports of entry? Thanks !! JLMoran Posted November 8, 2019 Report Posted November 8, 2019 Hi @TImandRacehlle, welcome to the RCBlog forums! If you can let us know the specific islands you’re visiting, and how long you’ll be in port for each, we’ll be able to give you some better / more-informed answers. Some islands lend themselves to self-exploration, but others will be better if you hire a private driver or book a third-party excursion. Neesa 1 Quote
Neesa Posted November 8, 2019 Report Posted November 8, 2019 I have personally used Jaital.com & Resortforaday.com when I wanted to explore beyond my ships offerings. I can tell you that they were wonderful & when I needed to cancel a booking my deposit was credited back promptly. Not exactly what you are asking for above but maybe you will see something you didn't know you would be interested in, enjoy what ever you choose. We have used these in Aruba, Barbados, Bahamas, St. Kitts, St Martin & Cozumel so far. Quote
