  1. My husband just read that you need to have fully covered shoes to go to the windjammer is this true? We don't normally wear other shoes than sandles and flip flops. Thanks!
  2. Despite all of our cruises on RC ships...there is one place we haven't eaten. Dinner in the Windjammer. So, what's the typical dinner experience in the WJ? Is it just a repeat of lunch food wise? Do we need body armor and a seating strategy like breakfast/lunch?
  3. Liberty OTS, Went to WJ on the first day, after we had explored a little while, walked around could not find any honey stung chicken (I think that's the name I've read on here) anywhere on the buffet, stopped a guy with a big chef's hat on and asked him about it and he looked at me like I was crazy, told him it was supposed to be a RCCL staple in WJ on embarkation day (Only in WJ) and he still looked at me like I was crazy. So I would say that Honey stung chicken is starting to disappear, as I've seen stated on this blog. WJ was amazing all week, everything was really fresh and well stocked, I think I remember one day that one side was out of bacon but the other side was completely full I wrote about this yesterday, because I remember seeing post of people complaining, the coffee on Liberty OTS was not weak, I think you might have been able to stand a spoon up in it, and fresh, one day the attendant was walking around re-filling everyone's cup at the tables and it was so fresh and hot I couldn't drink it for about 10 minutes.
  4. Hello All, I will be on Allure of the Seas in February and I am very excited. I am calling it the Superbowl Cruise since it is during the Superbowl! Anyhow, for those of you who have been on Allure before, can you tell me how the food at the Windjammer is onboard? I have heard that the Windjammer on Allure is not that good. I cruised on Vision of the Seas this past May and I thought the Windjammer was pretty good... Hit and miss but overall good. Also, what speciality restaurants are not to be missed? We stuck to the main dining room and Windjammer on Vision and would like to branch out more this time. Thanks in advance!
