  1. Anyone Going to Royal Caribbean on September 9th-September 15th from Mariner of the Seas departing from Port Canaveral? Me and my husband are going. Uber seemed cheaper if we get one more person with us. ($15-$20/person). We are staying at Country Inn. Please reach out. Thank you.
  2. We have purchased the UDP and have booked Jaime's and Chops for dinner on a few nights. Our friends want to join us on two of those nights. They do not have the UDP and are inquiring about the per person cost for each restaurant. Has anyone sailed on Quantum recently that could give me an idea of what the prices were looking like? Pictures of the menus would also be helpful. Thank you!
  3. We are going on Mariner in October 2020. Does anyone know the cost of the Escape Room onboard? Is the room worth it (good puzzles, the rooms actually put together well?)?
  4. Hi all, I don't have any upcoming cruise set yet ( ? ) but regardless of when I finally book cruise #4, I and my mother will have to fly since we live in Illinois. And it's a struggle! After dealing with conforming to shrinking plane carry-on measurements, checked-bag weight restrictions, transport to and from the airport, hotel costs, food for the night before and hotel to port costs we're often stressed and already pretty monetarily spent before even setting foot on the ship! But I want to take advantage of some of the cost saving tips I keep hearing about (like bringing your own wine or canned beverages on board or buying toiletries in the port city instead before)...but the idea of spending that much on ubers after all of the above costs, really makes me hesitant. So I come to you, seasoned cruisers, to ask - what are your tips to make flying to the port easier and cost effective? Do you do those other cost saving tips? How? Do you have other cost saving tips? Some things we already do: - We both have TSA pre-check to cut stress - We both have 1 free checked bag on the airline we choose so we save about $50 total on choosing to check a bag - We opt for AirBnB's over hotels when the cost is better usually saving $100 / night on lodging
  5. Is it just me, or are the 2021 Eurpean cruises much more expensive than previous years? Harmony in June is starting at 1600 euro for interior room. I honestly think that won't be affordable, save for the select few.
  6. How much does Non Alcohol Frozen Miami Vice drinks cost? Already have the Coke package just want to splurge a few times on frozen non alcohol drinks. I'm getting drink of the day the other times.
  7. About to embark on my first cruise with RC EotS. Super excited. However, the shore excursions are killing me with anxiety. To book on cruise line or wait till get there for activities ? cost vs cost ? I know that the cruise line guarantee your travel, but lm sure the shore activities are well aware of getting people back in time. Mare - l hear there is only a beach and a couple of other activities - such as caves etc. Every forum state NO bikes to be found. To get to the beach, RC bus you there - at a cost of $15 pp. WOW. ONLY option. RC should be doing this. VERY DISAPPOINTED already. I hope this isnt the sign of things to come. I booked a cruise for 5 (l have 3 teens) and l thought it would be a good option. The cost is amounting and l havent even got on the ship yet. :(
  8. I am going on the 12 night Mediterranean cruise in May and I noticed that many of the ports are not in the destination city (including Rome, Athens, and Ephesus for example). The Royal Caribbean website only says there is a nominal fee charged for a courtesy shuttle to and from the port and destination city, but I cannot find an example of the cost anywhere? Has anyone done the Mediterrean cruise? Do you remember about how much it cost for the shuttle? I know it will probably vary from port to port, but I don't know whether I am looking at like $10 or like $50 per person and I am trying to narrow it down somewhat. Thanks in advance!! :D
