  1. According to my understanding, your leftover FCC can be applied to another sailing once your June 28th sailing is completed.

  4. If they do cancel your cruise, there's an online form to fill out for refunds. You will get the link in the cancellation email. You do not have to go through your TA. At least that is how it was for this first round of cancellations.
  5. @MadamG2U that is such a heart warming story. Hoping for a similar experience with my parents at the end of this year. We have the Villa booked on HM with them. A treat for my Mom’s 70th birthday. Praying that this whole mess blows over by then and we can all go.
  6. I think it only entitles you to a full refund in the form of a FCC, not cash refund.
  7. No refunds. But I did not get a run around from them, zero nonsense. They let us re-book another flight that was less than the one we lost. And the remainder of the money can be used at any time, no questions asked. I just really appreciated that compared to some of the run around things I have heard from some other companies.
  8. I was so disappointed! It did not warm up until after our Port Canaveral stop. It was cold there. So basically, the only warm day was Nassau and then back to cold weather again.
  9. You might be out of luck, but past history shows that they do try to work with you in that if those rooms aren't there, they might offer you another ship in star class and price protect you. Or you might be out of luck. All I know is that this is a very unusual situation with Allure and there are many people who booked those cabins, expecting them to be there. I feel for you all, truly.
  10. Both times we sailed Anthem, we had a room with a balcony. First time in March, the balcony was a complete waste. We barely used it. Second time when we sailed in the summer, we loved having it.
  11. I loved the way that Delta handled our whole mess last week. Both my parents (who cancelled their Panama Canal cruise) and I booked through them and could not be happier.

  13. Your FCC will be issued and broken down by guest and can only be applied for that specific guest that it is issued to.
  14. That was the one sailing I got the $18/day package on! Another reason I don’t want to lose that sailing.
  15. If you do a mock booking online, it should show you the breakdown on the final screen. *edit...I see what you mean now about the funny math. I am not 100% clear on how they break it down either but basically, you can apply your FCC for the adults and you will have to save the kids for another time.

  18. Look at your invoice from the cancelled sailing. The FCC should be issued exactly as it is on the invoice. So whatever the amount was for Passenger 1, that will be the amount of the FCC. Whatever the amount was for Passenger 2, that will be the amount of the FCC for that person, etc. (not counting taxes and fees of course, just the cruise fare portion).
  19. The FCC is used for the cruise fare portion of each individual guest. KSF is an awesome promo, except in times like this where you are trying to use a FCC. Because the kids are not paying a cruise fare, you will not be able to use/apply their FCCs to any sailing that involves KSF. You will only be able to apply the FCC to those who are paying a cruise fare.
  20. I wonder if that has to do with the lofts on Anthem being at the back of the ship? I thought I recalled reading about others who had balconies who were allowed to keep it open?
  21. They are not really "changing it" really. What I have learned over time is that some ships waive this rule and some stick to it. Like all things Royal and Star class, it is inconsistent.
  22. @shaydav19, I hate to be negative, but you might be fighting a losing battle. Over the past week, I have had my own fight with Royal over FCC, even to the point of escalating to corporate level. Royal is not budging this time. They are giving out the same "canned/generic" responses to all. I know this because many people have sent messages my way of the same generic response. You could try to email corporate, like many of us already have, but what I am saying is, not to be surprised if you end up with the same response. But by all means, do so, because the more they hear, the better. Here are the emails that I sent a letter to: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]
