I’ve done HM twice now and SY twice. They are practically identical. I agree with you in that both ships Entertainment is one level up from Allure, but Oasis has Aqua 80 and that I would say is the same calibre as The Fine Line and Hiro. However, the ice shows on the older two cannot compare to HM and SY, and we all know Oasis has Cats, so just about anything is better than that. Bottom line, there are pros and cons to each. We will sail HM one more time in March and then probably not again once she heads to Galveston. OA we already have more sailings booked on her, and SY I would do again as well if the price is decent. If you get a chance to sail SY out of Bayonne, don’t hesitate. It’s a great ship! I like her this time more than the first time in July 2019.

Yes! I missed the very beginning though. We were getting ice cream. I want to try to catch it again at some point. Lol. I don’t really want to do star without one kid. On top of that, the price was hard to beat. Lastly, it leaves from Port Everlglades. You know what that means right? I looked at it this way. If SY or OA come out with something enticing, I will pay the $100pp change fee and move it. We got $300 OBC from next cruise so it will be a wash.

The plan was to have lunch at Park Cafe today but on our way down, we took a peek at what CK had for lunch. We never eat lunch at CK but we could not pass on today’s menu. This one we have never tried. For me, it was the Royal Chicken sandwich that lured me in. For Hubby, it was the Alfredo. I am also beyond excited to report that the Mushroom Soup on this menu today is the same one from Chops! @WAAAYTOOO I thought of you right away. This made my day as we are not star this sailing and did not purchase specialty dining so I assumed the Chops Mushroom soup was lost to me this sailing.

The morning started off pretty normal with breakfast in CK. We had a follow up appointment with the Portrait Studio at 11:00 am. Hubby and I showed up early because we were still somewhat undecided on what to do. Around 10:42am, there was an Oscar, Oscar, Oscar port side call. I left Hubby at the portrait studio and headed to the aqua theatre to see what I could see. This is what I saw. The ship stopped very quickly and made a quick turnaround. Around 11:00 am, the captain made an announcement that they spotted a vessel with many people on board and they would send out a rescue boat to investigate. Shortly after that, the captain came back on with another update saying that all on board the little boat were fine and did not wish to be rescued. They asked for provisions of food, water, and blankets. The captain said they would send those out with the rescue boat and we will continue on our way. By about 12:30pm we were back on our way to Nassau. Hubby got this picture from the jogging track as we left. Meanwhile, while we were picking our photos, around 11:15am, there was an Alpha, Alpha, Alpha call in the Bionic Bar. Hope all was well there as I have not heard about what happened there.
