  1. I created a "cross-section" view of Liberty to make it easier to see where everything is. However, going off of the deck plans from RCL it is not clear which floor you enter the theatre from. Help!!

Seriously? Wow, props to you. Any way we could see a sneak peak? 😉 Totally cool if you can't, or don't want to show it.
  2. I believe you on the "they already prepared X amount before we all ordered". One night they started handing out extra scallops since they all didn't actually get ordered by anyone. I was stoked because I had some as an appetizer, and they were killer. But...the extras they brought weren't cooked through and through, so I only ate a couple.

  3. How do they clean the pools, if they are open 24/7? Do they just tell people to get out?

If I'm not mistaken, at least one pool is always open. If they're cleaning the Solarium then the main pool will be open, or vice versa. But yeah, they'll kick you out I imagine. I've never actually been in a pool when they're ready to clean it. Same goes for hot tubs.
  4. I've seen a lot of topics come up on this blog/forum (no I haven't read ALL of it), but never the rock walls (random brief comments have been made).

I'd love to hear your stories and whatnot! I'll start it off with mine.

I was stoked before our first cruise when my wife said Enchantment had a climbing wall, "on a ship?", I was a little confused. Couldn't actually climb that first time around because I threw my back out washing my hands at a Rays game 2 days before we left. But, our last 3 I've been there.

On Freedom I climbed 6 out of 7 days, and there were I think 2 routes on the wall I couldn't do, they just kicked my butt.

On Serenade I was out there in the wind and rain hoping it would be open...nope, just me looking like a moron out there. It was open a few times when the weather was good, and I think 1 route beat me.

I really love seeing ALL ages trying it out. Some give up too quick, but others dig down, and the look on their face when they make it is priceless.

  5. Due to work and other things called life, it seems as though Tyna and I will be subjecting ourselves to 5-nighters for the foreseeable future -- We're sort of looking forward to the new releases because, right now, if all things stayed equal, we'd probably be looking at Indy out of FLL or Brilliance out of Tampa..... with family in central FL, I must admit, Brilliance has me intrigued, plus, hopefully, they'll join us which means we fly to MCO and we have free transport to TPA. We shall see.

I chose a Brilliance 5-nighter as our first cruise with a baby, 7 just seemed too long. We'll see what happens.

Some of my in-laws live in various cities in that area, so I'm hoping to con one of them into taking us to and from the port, and letting us park our car at their house 😉

I'm now waiting for the later Tampa sailings for maybe a Rhapsody week.

  6. Say what ?? Since when ? I've never ever been on a Royal Caribbean cruise where they didn't provide soap and shampoo.....even if it is the kind in the dispense in the shower tube....

We saw a couple at guest services asking for their shampoo-and-such dispenser to please be filled whenever their attendant had the chance; didn't know that was option. We bring our own, but it's nice to know if we run out or forget it we're still covered.
