  1. How often can you order a drink?

I'd guess 15 minutes between drinks.

From Experience on my last cruise we had met several people from across the world.  At night we liked to go hot tubing.  There would be between 4-6 of us who would meet in the casino...  1 person would take all the cards to the bar and grab drinks, turn around and hand off the cards to the next person and so on and so forth.  We could easily get a 6 pack a piece in about 15 minutes doing this.

  2. Trying to book Chefs Table for our September sailing on Harmony of the seas.  It does not appear in our cruise planner, when we called Royal they told us that 150 Central Park with the wine paring was the same event.  In the Media releases it shows chefs table in chops, and Im sure this is a case of the sales people not seeing the product on there options.  My question was does anyone know if they are actually doing Chefs table on Harmony, and have you been able to pre book it online?   Might be too early to book, just hate to have it fill up before we get on board.  Thanks for any insight

    Hi Clarkr

My Partner and I did the Chef's Table on Oasis.  It was actually held in the Coastal Kitchen, although I have seen other ships have it in chops.  According to the RCCL Dining Guide there is Chef's Table on the Harmony.  While the agent you spoke with is correct about the concept of 150 Central Park, it by no means is the experience of the Chef's Table.  My guess at this point is that you may be too early in booking online.  The other issue may be that RCCL is not doing it until the Harmony repositions to Fort Lauderdale towards the end of this year.

  3. In the case of this question, it came direct from Royal Caribbean when I wrote it up.

It definitely says one device per person.  Ignorance is not an excuse and certainly would not hold up in court. Not to mention, no one is taking a lawyer to court over a $20/day perk.

Matt Thank you for saying what I have already previously said!  1 Device per person per cabin!  Todd you should really stop being so negative and argumentative.  It's not becoming.

  4. The blog is not Royal,  it independent, and the Royal site is full of conflicts saying two or more completely different things for the same issue. Plus add in that when and how you purchased the cruise has a effect on the answer as the contract cannot be changed without agreed from both sides and consideration after it entered into.

Todd whild you are corect about the link not being from RCCL...  It is however from this EXACT BLOG.  I would say that it would be 1 Device per Person booked into the suite.  No More and No Less!

  5. We are booked on the Harmony for the 12 June 2016 and I understand that as we are in a grand suite, Sky class, we will get free internet. My question is how many devices can we connect. I have spoken to RC customer service on 3 separate occasions and each time we have been told different answers. The first call said 2 devices, the next one 1 device and the final call, yesterday, 4 devices. Does anyone know which one is correct. Thank you

    Hey Wobble31

    Hi Hunter

While this link is for another site it's a very good article on the RC Drink Packages that will give you a great gage as to pruchase a Drink Package or not.

    Hope that helps!

  7. As for the "group planner"

Again unless you have paid for a wedding coordinator or have some other contract with RCCL, you will not have access to a group activity planner. However, as a suite guest, you can utilize the consierge to help you plan things like parties/hors d'oeuvres/drinks in your suite or other unbooked areas on the ship. The consierge can also help get people in you group on the same excursion (sometimes) if one shows as sold out. They can be very helful. We did tip our consierge appropriately.

Thanks Float!  However you are not correct...  I just got off the phone with my TA and the RCCL Group Devision.  There IS a Group point of contact on board who can coriddinate dinners, activities and shore excursions.  As it gets closer to sailing they will forward that peosons contact information to me.

  8. Just a General question about boarding day....

As previously stated my husband and I are planning a "Group Wedding Cruise" despite the fact that we are already married.  As we are C&A Members I know that they board by C&A Status.  We are also staying in a Grand Suite so will be considered "Suite Class".

My question is this...  At the pier is there a RCCL Group Representative that will meet my group and board us all together or will it be the general cattle call of boarding.  Additionally is there a RCCL Group Rep on board that can arrange thing for my group or do I have to take charge of that?

  9. I think there's an ordering problem here.

I see that you booked your cabins via the web site (if I'm understanding you correctly), then moved the bookings to the TA. In this case, they are not group bookings.

Groups must be set up in advance of the bookings, and the bookings are then made into the group.

Your TA would need to contact Royal Caribbean's Group Department to see about creating a group and moving the reservations into the group.

Note that this is from a US perspective. It's possible that Royal Caribbean Australia doesn't provide the same benefits to groups.

Marc is quite correct here!  I'm am currently going through this as I am organizing a "Group" for my Wedding through AAA.

Here's what you need to know.  All Group sailings need to either be booked through RCCL Group department or a TA.  If you all booked your rooms separately you are NOT considered a "Group" for anything other than Dining.  If you did book through a TA or RCCL as a group then you get what are called GAP Points.  The Group Leader (in my case ME) then determines what amenities the group gets based on the number of GAP points assigned to your Group Contract.

You may want to attempt to ask your TA if they can contact RCCL Group Department but I’m guessing at this point you are just 21 people cruising who can get 3 tables for the Main Dining Room.

  10. While I can't speak for curising on Anthem when my husband and I were on our last cruise (November 2016) for my birthday, I asked our cabin attendent to make it extra special!  Needless to say I had a different towl animal every night.  Just goes to show a little please and thankyou go a VERY long way!
