I saw a good price for an obstructed balcony on Oasis of the Seas, but I am curious how obstructed is obstructed?

I really like the gym on ships I have been on. Better than my gym at home!

Anthem looks like a really fun ship. And I like having a cruise closer to home (Michigan) than having to go to Florida

I checked…. Spirit out of DTW flying out the morning of Jan. 13th of and returning late in the evening the day the ship returns is $271/pp plus Detroit's outrageous parking fees of several million $$$ per day.
Damn this is temping… but I'd have to pull the kid out of school for it, so it's not happening. :(
I hate parking in Detroit!!!

Julie, have you ever cruised before? The ship does move even in calm seas and you probably will feel movement.
Yes we have but I'm just concerned the ocean would be rougher than normal

Never been to either port but my favorite restaurant is Fishlips in Port Canaveral. Great view of the ships!
That is the restaurant where everyone waves to you when the ship leaves, right? Looks like a hoot!

I am worried about the ship rocking too much if the weather is bad. How bad is it?
Does the side of the ship really matter?
