  1. I have seen people carry the cases on board at FLL so at least some of the time they allow it. Don't think it would be worth it to me to have to lug the case around the ship until the rooms are ready though. Did see one guy that had a small fold-out metal luggage carrier that he had the water on, not sure where you get them but it had wheels and a long handle so it looked easy to deal with.
  2. Got to thank the lawyers for their contribution to society there. Sat through a training class many years ago the gist of which was "never guarantee anything or state that you are certain of anything". Essentially if you guarantee a seaworthy vessel then anything that goes wrong can be used against you because you guaranteed it even if it is completely out of your control. So after the tugboat rammed you into the dock and you started leaking your vessel was no longer seaworthy ? But you guaranteed it so I am suing you ....
  3. Guess we will just have to wait and see ... just three in my travel party so it has never been something I really considered before.
  4. I know the ships aren't sailing yet so no one can speak from personal experience, but .... Does anyone have any knowledge/thoughts on bedding options in the new Quantum/Anthem ships ? I was looking over the deck plans and it seems there are no Pullman beds on board (Except for the Family Junior Suite) so the bedding options come down to Two Twins / King as the standard beds and then some cabins have a full size couch. Seems like that works for 2-3 people but makes it hard if you have 4? I have even seen some websites listing the cabins as max 3 passengers. Trying to get some people interested in booking Anthem when it goes on sale but most of them are families of 4 and not sure what to recommend to them since the cabins seem to be missing a bed ... Thanks
  5. Interesting indeed. Waiting for the details on the Fall 2015 Anthem sailings to come out. Interested in the ship class but not travelling to NJ for Quantum.
  6. We have done it and will probably do it again. Not big on the formal night so the $30 credit to encourage us to eat at Chops which we would do anyway at some point in the cruise was a good sell point for 2nd night. Our group of 4 includes one non-drinker and the credit was a $30 bar tab rather than specific to wine so it basically worked out to a drink or two for each of us.
