  1. We do not have a specialty dining package but would like to reserve lunch on a sea day for our October 2024 cruise. On the app, it lists each day with lunch and dinner time frames, but if I try to make a lunch reservation only dinner times populate. On the website, it doesn't list lunch times at all - only dinner. It is $3/pp less on the website for dinner though.

Does anyone know if lunch reservations for Sabor will become available closer to our sail date?

    Thanks!

I'd say it depends on how active you want to be with your booking. We have used big online companies, local and MEI. We are very active in our bookings, checking pricing for the cruises, excursions, beverages, dining etc. on a regular basis. It is part of the fun for us. in the end, we found big online the best for our ndividial needs. They have few discounts from what Royal provides directly but the most OBC. A lot more obc. We used the big onlines during covid with rebooks, cancellations etc and had no issues. To us, the obc is worth is being a little more involved. But local and MEI have also been great.

I've never used a travel agent, but am considering it for a late-2025 cruise. I'm not familiar with "big online" companies that offer more obc...are you able to give some examples? And do they offer refundable deposits? Thanks!

For those wondering, UBER was the option we went with and it could not have gone better!

Because we didn't really know how heavy traffic could or would be, be arranged for an 11:15 pick up for our 12:00 arrival time.

Our driver, Gina, promptly picked us up at our Seawall Blvd hotel at 11:15 and we were on our way. I was surprised just how light traffic turned out to be and we arrived at the port at 11:28.

I expected to have to wait until noon after handing off our luggage to the porter, but were promptly waved into the terminal. Security check, carry on x-ray, a quick question from an agent about our health status, followed by a passport check and scan of our set sail passes had us on our way up the gangway.

We were done with our muster station check in and ordering our first drink at the Sand Bar before our scheduled arrival time!

Thanks for the update! I'm glad it worked well for you.

We have very little experience with Uber/Lyft. How far ahead did you set up your 11:15 pick up?

    Thanks!

As for a brunch deal, hope you find one! I'm sure there's a national brunch day. I was obviously thrilled that lunch/brunch was one of the better Black Friday deals. When we sailed Wonder in June, the full price for MJ brunch was actually $24.99... so it was only $21.99 pre-cruise with just the normal 10% off. Then RC gave it a giant price hike!

May 11th is National Brunch for Lunch Day, celebrated on the day before Mother's Day every year. 😊
