Hi Guys, we are from Australia when cruising the Pacific Islands I would like your views on using a travel money card from your bank and then drawing out cash in USD? When you are through out a cruise and you go to a sea port and they are in different currency, can you take some USD money to the front desk and exchange it for the local currency?

Hi Guys, we are cruising on the Voyager of The Seas on the 4/4/16. My question is in the stateroom for my wife she wants to use her hair straightener and hair dryer, we need to use an adaptor for USA, 110 volts AC and standard european 220/230 volts AC outlets was the recomendation for USA, we bourght a 10A 120V AC adaptor to suit for conversion to use Australian appliance. With my wifes hair straightener and hair dryer being 10A 250 Volts. Will this work or do we require something else to rectify the problem. Thanks

We are from Australia going on the Voyager of the Seas in April. Is it worth taking your own hair dryer? Will they work on the ship? An ac adaptor would be required. I'm a bit sceptical that they might not work as here in Australia we work on 220-240 volts on a lot of electrical items
