    Will be joining you and the weather looks good, especially for the Naples-Barcelona crossing, when we shall be mid Med.
    The rest of the time I imagine we will be close to coast so as a poor mariner I am hoping for flat calm.

    In general the waves and swells in the Mediterranean are relatively mild due to the narrow opening at the Strait of Gibraltar.  Here is a forecast map that provides a general estimate of predicted seas: https://www.surf-forecast.com/weather_maps/North-Atlantic?type=htsgw&&over=none&&hr=6  As you can see by advancing the forecast period, a few days next week are higher than typical.  I assume that you are on Symphony.  If so, you probably won't feel a thing.  Have a great time!!

    Did this itinerary mant times , always the bought arrived around 5 am and cleared around 6.
    Travel time to airport is less than 20 minutes and it's Sunday so no traffic.  My flight is usually around 10:30 am , never had a problem.

    We are French and have made several cruises from Barcelona. The boat arrives early in Barcelona and usually from 6.30/7.00 it is possible to get off.
    BUT once there was another boat that broke down in the harbour and we were late. That’s exceptional.
    For international departures from BCN El Prat, you must arrive at least 3h before. So there must be no problem for a flight at 12:30.
    The simplest thing is not to use the luggage service. You keep the luggage and you go out alone. The ideal is to take a direct taxi to the airport which is south of Barcelona... as the port (30/40€ in 25/30mn, at that time, no traffic). Possibility to pay by credit card in taxis.

    Shouldn’t be problem. We’ve taken several transatlantic cruises going to Barcelona. There are plenty of taxis at the port. If you want extra time, walk off with your luggage. Many times we were at our downtown Barcelona hotel at 9 am post cruise. 
    What’s the hurry to get back to the states? Spend a day or two in Barcelona and enjoy the city before heading home.
