  1. Currently on SoS. Extremely annoyed that the soda package pre purchase option disappeared 48 hrs before and we ended up paying an extra $8 a head for this. Also why is it impossible to fill water bottles? It’s surely fundamental to health to keep hydrated between my beers and cocktails. Apart from this, awesome.
  2. Will be joining you and the weather looks good, especially for the Naples-Barcelona crossing, when we shall be mid Med. The rest of the time I imagine we will be close to coast so as a poor mariner I am hoping for flat calm.
  3. Thanks for this Steve, we now have had the Guest Ticket Booklet from Iglu, 4 days before we travel. We don't usually use travel agents for our holidays and after our Iglu experience, we now know why.
  4. Our pre travel info from Iglu Cruises has been absent, no flight check in information and no 'Vacation documents' from RC. How can we print our luggage labels without this.
  5. We are flying out next Sunday from Gatwick on a Vueling fight booked through Iglu. How do we get our booking reference as we can't seem to check in for our flights and print boarding passes?
  6. Couple of quickies folks. Which flowrider session should we book for complete beginners? Given some of the cabins are small, is there any option for paid luggage storage away from your cabin? ta
  7. Soon to be first timers, we have checked in on app and now it wants us to book a start time for our wellness check. The only thing we have to go on is our flight arrival time, with the transfers being provided by IGLU?? Do we get a boarding time first from RCL?
  8. Tipping seems to come down to culture. It seems that in the USA you pay your waiting staff a pittance to maximise profits and keep the headline price down. In Europe I hope we pay our hospitality staff a decent salary and then tip on top for good service. It also seems from some comments that in Scandinavia tipping is not even a thing. It would be good if the cruise industry page decent wages and didn't have all these back door add ons, but I am not holding my breath.

  10. First timer from UK, so will visit some places on another occasion. With all the frantic excursion chatter I get the impression that it’s everybody off! What are your experiences of staying onboard whilst in port for all or part of a day? It seems with so much to do, a shame to not make the most.
  11. We have decided not to do Florence and Cinque Terra, but I know there isn't a whole day in Pisa. Is it worth tacking on Lucca to Pisa and how do you get between the two?
  12. and crucially for all those who voted for Brexit, Brits will have to pay £6 each visa waiver from 2024. Thanks guys!
  13. We are doing the Western Med. cruise later in the year and I am planning to source most excursions myself, the only one which worries me is Pisa & Florence from La Spezia. Is it worth the extra £100 per head via RC to ensure getting back on the boat or will one of the many other operators get us back on time? Also do you have any recommendations, please.
  14. My wife does not drink alcohol. Are we both still forced to by a Premium drinks package if I buy one?
  15. Hi there first timers flying in from Gatwick on Easy Jet about 10am an the day. Would you advise flying in the day before?? cheers
