  1. we ended up booking the ziplining!!  looking at gardens is just not appealing to a group of very active adults and 7 kids!!  we cannot wait,  it looks amazing and got great reviews.  it will also give us time to do some sightseeing.  the inner harbor area/seals looked like fun!!

  2. We will be on the same cruise!!!  I am planning on the layered approach.  bringing some fleeces, long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts.  long pants and capris (and hopefully some shorts for Seattle (we will check forecast before leaving) - we are going a couple days early.  lightweight/waterproof jacket with hood.  and nice clothes for dinner. many pairs of shoes!!   i am bring gloves and a hat.  that is about it.

  3. In our group, we will have a bunch of teens.  2 14 year olds, 1 15 year old and 1 17 year old.  They would all like to hang out together in the Teens club.  I see there are 2 categories of teens clubs 12-14 and 15-17.  Will they allow the 14 year olds to go with the 15-17 year old group??  Not sure how strictly they adhere to the age guidelines.   Thanks!!

  4. Just find a Michael Kohrs outlet here in the US.  We have one here in PA.  All bags are always discounted and a percentage off on top of that -- many times 50-60%.  and some drop to clearance, with huge price drops and you still get the discount on top of that.  I have go super nice/big  Michael Kohrs bags for around $40.

  5. I have been hearing rumors of theme nights on Royal Caribbean cruises (like Caribbean night, white night, 70's night, etc).  I was wondering if anyone who has been on an Alaskan cruise before could give me some insight into the theme nights they had on their cruise??  I am doing the Seattle to Seattle cruise aboard the Explorer of the Seas, departing June 24th  (80 days from today!!   Can't wait!!!).  Thanks in advance!!!

  6. On many RCL ships, they have started removing towels from saved chairs.  they put a one hour tag on the chair, if after an hour it is still there - the towels are removed and the chairs are freed up for others to use.  I hope all the ships start doing this.  Chairs sit all day long with towels on them being unused. so unfair  (but don't think I will have any problems with this on my cruise to Alaska !!)
