  1. I haven't seen a specific section for LGBT cruisers here, but it’d be awesome if there was one! I recently went on a cruise that catered to the LGBTQ+ community, and it was such a blast. The vibe was so welcoming, and everyone was just there to have a good time. One night, they hosted a circuit party on the deck, complete with great music and stunning lights. I met so many cool people and made some lasting friendships. It felt great to connect in such a fun atmosphere. If you're considering a cruise, definitely look for ones that celebrate our community—it makes all the difference!
  2. Sure, Royal Caribbean does allow walkie talkies onboard. We brought a couple on our last cruise, and they worked out great, especially since we had a group and it was hard to keep everyone together on such a big ship. Just make sure they’re UHF ones because they seem to work better with the walls and long distances. We had some cheap ones before, but they didn’t really cut it. If you’re thinking about getting some, I saw uhf for sale on Radio Warehouse, and they’ve got a good range to choose from. It definitely helped us stay connected without relying on Wi-Fi.
  3. Totally understand the stress of cutting it close with arrival times! I’ve found that when things are tight, especially with long flights, it’s helpful to go for business class flights—they make the whole travel experience smoother, and you're a bit more rested and ready for whatever comes next. If your package includes transfers and the ship departure isn’t until 10pm, you should be fine, but definitely keep an eye on any updates just in case.
  4. Oh no, that sounds super frustrating! I've had a similar issue with a hotel booking once. It turned out to be a glitch in their system. It's great that your TA is on it and hopefully, it's just a misunderstanding. Hang in there! On a side note, when I traveled through Germany, I found the Deutsche Bahn timetable really convenient for planning my train journeys.
  5. When you have back-to-back sailings booked, the cruise line usually takes care of transferring your luggage to your new room. So, no need to worry about that. You'll have a smooth transition. And if you're looking for an IT outsourcing company, I can definitely lend a hand with that too.
  6. I haven't set sail on a cruise yet, but I'm always on the lookout for great food vibes, both at sea and in everyday life! Your experiences matter, and I'd love to hear how your recent cruises went especially the food part! I've heard mixed reviews, so forming an objective opinion seems key. On a personal note, I've had a few not-so-great food experiences during cruises. That prompted me to be a bit of a food prepper – packing some canned goods, dried fruits, and even Beef broth for a quick fix just in case the ship's offerings aren't up to par. A little microwave magic, and voila! A delicious plan B.
  7. Hey there! From my experience, a regular driver's license should be sufficient as a form of ID for a closed-loop cruise. Usually, they just need a valid government-issued ID that contains your photo and birthdate. However, it's always a good idea to double-check with the specific cruise line or consult their website to ensure you have all the necessary documents handy before setting sail.
  8. Sometimes there can be glitches or delays in syncing between the website and the app, so the treatment may show up in the app calendar closer to your appointment date. However, printing out the receipt is a good idea to be safe so you have a physical copy to refer to. I did so when visiting my favorite spa recently (https://rawbeautyaesthetics.com/services/botox-treatment-in-woodland-hills-ca/). I hope this tip helps you!
