Im sure it is on here somewhere, but have not come across it.  I will be doing an Alaska cruise next year and have Verizon for cell service.  How well does it work up there?  And do you keep it on while on the ship or do you get roaming charges and only turn it on in port?

This will be my third cruise, but (scary part) the first cruise with my kids.  We're excited and nervous.

Your Royal excursion tickets will tell you when and where to meet, typically on the pier just before shops. Allow 15 min to walk to meeting point. 3rd party tours are usually just outside secure port area. I leave stateroom 30 min early due to crowds, elevator time, etc.
We have done the large group Chacchoben tour of about 5 hours. Can't remember exact name. There is a small group tour for a few $ more. We liked the tour, including wild monkeys!

I would go to Chacchoben ruins in Costa Maya and make Cozumel a beach day. I visited the Tulum ruins when I was in Cozumel, but I thought the ferry ride over was terrible (many people were puking). The ruins in Costa Maya just require a 1 hour bus ride each way and are still really impressive!
