  1. Oh yeah, definitely; wouldn’t want anything to go wrong on my first cruise ever!
  2. Don’t know if anyone is still following but Chichen Itza is in my excursion list for Cozumel. Entails 6 hours of travel time, 9 hours total. When does Royal Caribbean have the biggest sale usually? It’s currently listed for 35% off.
  3. We have about 11 hours in Cozumel (7 AM to 6 PM). Hoping that Royal might offer it, but for now my safe choice is Chacchoben in Costa Maya.
  4. Was planning to have a beach day in Cozumel and to visit the Mayan Ruins in Costa Maya, but if that’s the case I might just have to switch it around. How long did you have in Cozumel and how long was the excursions duration?
  5. Chacchoben just made its way into my cruise planner and that's why I am asking. Looks like a nice place to visit with some beautiful Mayan ruins and rich history. In your opinion, which of the three excursion sites are most worth visiting? So far, Chacchoben is the only one that has popped up in my cruise planner.
  6. My friend went on Symphony this January and I saw that they had gone to Chichen Itza, but I was not sure if it was directly through Royal Caribbean or through an external transporter. If I am going to Chichen Itza, I'd much rather book through Royal Caribbean as I can guarantee that I will make it back to the ship on time (I have 8 hours in Costa Maya).
  7. I’m looking for some shore excursions for our upcoming cruise in January visiting Puerto Costa Maya and Cozumel. I was wondering if Royal Caribbean offers shore excursions to Chichen Itza directly from the cruise line. It seems like a fun place to spend the day with my family, but it’s a hefty two hour drive one way so I’m not sure if Royal Caribbean does it. I’m also going on a smaller ship (Mariner) not sure it that matters. Has anyone visited Chichen Itza with Royal Caribbean in Puerto Costa Maya? Thanks!
  8. Hi there Royal Caribbean Blog! I have booked a cruise for January of 2024 on Mariner of the Seas. This is my first cruise so I am not very experienced when it comes to this. When I booked it, I booked the reservation for 2 adults and 1 child. However, my other son (who is an adult) now wants to come. I am not booked with a travel agent and the cruise does not appear to be full. My reservation is for a balcony stateroom. Is it possible for me to add him to my cruise reservation? If I can, do I have to pay an additional minimum deposit for him?
