Thank you for this! I have been looking for this exact answer for some time. I was able to book the Hibachi Experience dinner when it was blip/sale for only $28.99 but want the combo, so didn't know how they would charge me the difference.

Has anyone sailed on Oasis or an Oasis class ship with The Key recently? If so, can you share what the times were like for special access to activities? TIA!!

Thanks everyone for your feedback! I do not think we will be ordering 2 entrees often, but more so wouldn't want to wait too long if we wanted a separate protein or side from another meal to combine with the main entree (example, surf&turf, side of rice for my daughter...which I can't imagine they wouldn't be willing to accommodate at least the side rice!)

"They aren't gonna put it in Tupperware and reuse the next night if nobody orders all." That is kind of a good point, especially for the second seating. I wonder the logic then with making folks wait when they do request to have certain things out at same time, in example of building your own Surf & Turf meal.

Hi guys! Just wondering if I can collect some general feedback from those who have cruised the new menus re: ordering 2 or more entrees in MDR. I am all about staying positive and enjoying the experience regardless of the new rules or menus. I absolutely can appreciate others who have not had great experiences or were left frustrated by the changes, but for this post I am most interested in objective feedback! For those who ordered 2 entrees at MDR, can you share: Did your server allow you to ask for entrees to be brought together. I imagine there will be different experiences here, which is why I am kinda doing this as a "poll" to get a general sense I am especially curious in the example of wanting one main meal with a "side" of another meal (example, I want the tortellini from Royal night with a side of Lobster). My daughter will probably order off the kids meal but would LOVE a side of rice on nights that are serving rice on adult entrees.) If not, how soon after your "first" entree was delivered was your second entree delivered? Are we talking 5-10 min, or 30 min, etc? I have seen people post that they "wont" bring out a second entree until you "finish" the first, which I just can't believe is completely true, especially if you explain to your waiter that you want to eat the foods together as one meal/entree. Are you allowed to ask for which entree you want to come first/second or is it up to the waitstaff to bring what is ready out first? What has been your experience with appetizers...can you order a couple at once to be brought out together? Thanks in advance!

Agree! My son will turn 12 just a few days before we sail on Oasis in March, so interested to hear what games and activities he did at AO and how they cater to the tweens!

I know they offer the alcohol free refreshment package. On the cruise do they ever offer like a 10-pack package for AF drinks that can be split between people (I think they offer this option for booze drinks on board)? We have the soda packages for our kids but I am sure they are going to want a few AF daiquiris or pina coladas on the trip and just thought this might be a way to save a little $ and allocate ahead of time how many they get!

Late Flight on Embarkation day
morganpink2001 replied to Gaia121's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Agree with others....always fly in the day before (or sooner). Think about what happened a couple of weeks ago where all flights were grounded due to TSA computer issues. Are you able to move your flight a earlier, or at least the first flight out same day of embarkation? If not, I would at least start formulating a backup plan for how you would get to the first port if god forbid you were to miss departure. -
You are an absolute genius! Our MDR menus (barring any last minute changes) are going to be: Night 1- Welcome Aboard Night 2 (cruising)- Italian Night 3 (Labadee)- French Night 4 (San Juan)- Mexican Night 5 (St. Thomas)- Caribbean (replacing with Hibachi for my family) Night 6- (cruising)- Royal Night Night 7 (Perfect Day)- Bon Voyage This is perfect, thanks again!

Yes I would like to know this as well! If we paid $28.99, but the menu shows 45.99 or 49.99 options, what are we allowed to order and what would be the upcharge if we wanted Premier combo. What are the options for kids? They were only slightly cheaper than adults- is there a specific hibachi menu for them?
-
Just booked this as well! It will be our only specialty dining of the cruise (Oasis, March 19 sailing). Is there anyway to tell which menus are offered which nights in MDR? I would love it this happened to fall on Mexican or Caribbean night which I don't think my kids will be as excited about!

Oasis of the Seas- Interior Central Park View
morganpink2001 replied to morganpink2001's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Great, so I think I will ask for twin beds to be configured in room 9633 (I just feel like they would fight for the bed right next to the window, haha!) Thanks for the help! -
Hi! Silly question, but has anyone stayed on Oasis lately in the Central Park view rooms? Wondering if they are the window seat design shown in the first pic, or the more modern/porthole design shown below. I would prefer the window seat but no big deal. Also, is there a way to tell the bed configuration? We have room 9633 and 9631 (connecting). I want to ask them to make the kids beds the Twin configuration and ours in King, but is that better if the Twin beds are by the window or more at the front of the room? I suppose I can wait until we get there and see to request reconfiguration, but I hate to make the room attendant strip the beds and remake!

Hi! We are sailing on Oasis on March 19. My son (12) was bummed because he loved the burger bar by the pool on our Allure trip back in 2019. Other than JR, where can you get a good burger on Oasis? Can he order a burger at the Main Dining Room for lunch or dinner with all the fixings (and not be a tiny kid meal size burger?) TIA!!!
