Get bigger bottles

On Odyssey: Used the new diamond 40% discount on wine bottle and surprised to see it used one of my diamond drink vouchers on the receipt. Confirmed with GS that this was the policy. Don't recall seeing this mentioned in any of the new benefit messaging. Glad I got the bottle before using all my vouchers.

One place you may have difficulty with is the hibachi/teppenyaki restaurant. I don't think I've seen a table for more than 10. Even if one for 12 available many book it pre-cruise to lock in the reservation.

Credit posted to my account but it shows as a non-refundable credit. Took letter to GS and showed that it clearly stated any unused amount would be refunded to original form of payment. They're working on it....

My guess is they didn't want to offer the full retail price for the cooler credit and this is how much RC pays for them.

On Odyssey and I did see the drink countdown on my receipts.

Update from Odyssey: They did not refund the cooler package. The $10.99 is refundable credit to make up for the cooler. Works for me because I got the package for $43.99 which was cheaper than the $7.49 x 6 and 18% gratuity on each can.

I have not seen any refund or OBC yet. All based on letter left in cabin. Will provide update when I get more info.

Boarded Odyssey today. Letter saying that due to supply chain issues coolers not available and purchase of the cooler bag was cancelled but drinks still provided and $10.99 OBC provided.

Breakfast menu is the same every day. MDR can work with you to address dietary needs. They have dedicated stations to help prevent cross contamination for anyone with celiac disease.

You can see the MDR menus in the app. Go to dining and select main dining. Pick one of the dining rooms and select menu. Go to any day except 1 and you should be able to view the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.

I got the 28.99 sale too. Will be on Odyssey next week trying to get the combo. Will post how it turns out.

I've always had to pay for the pass. They do offer free tours of the area but that didn't include use of the spa.

Adding any booze to your coffee will be covered by the DBP but you will be charged if you only have the refreshment package. An extra shot of espresso or flavors is included with both packages.

I have had espressos and lattes in the main dining room but I don't recall them ever asking for my seapass card to see if I had a package or charge me for the drink. All the coffee drinks made with Starbucks beans in Cafe Promenade are included in the refreshment and DBP.

You can also get discounts based on your C&A level. If you go to the spa raffle on day 1 they usually have some package deals offered and you may win some on board credit for one of the services. I even got a $50 spa credit on a card from my cabin steward on my last cruise.

I like to take my passport card and leave passport book and driver's license on ship. If it gets lost or stolen it's not as much of a hassle as getting a new driver's license or passport book. You can't use it to fly back to US but you should be able to get passport book from ship if needed and it doesn't have your address on it which I think is safer. I think anyone getting a passport should get the card with it.

Also love the Schooner bar on this class of ship and Vintages great place for a pre-dinner glass of wine or cocktail.

I was on in December with some friends who were first time cruisers. We all loved it. Agree with the aft outside Windjammer seating offering some great views.

I've seen my reservation on top and below linked reservation. Seems kind of random. Both in a grand suite.

I have it scheduled for my Odyssey 3/19 cruise. Can post about it after if we don't get something posted sooner.

The pre-cruise email from the suite concierge asked if we had beach club pass and would make lunch reservations for us. Don't know if diamond concierge could make reservations too.
