I know this doesn't exactly answer your question, but we took one of the hop on hop off busses from port and it was a great decision. They run frequently, have complimentary wifi and cost 10-20 euros a person for the whole day. If you're nice to them they might even give you a coupon for free food/drinks in local businesses.

We're much much more dangerous to sharks than vice versa.

How can I book a going going gone cruise?

They're doing electrical work on the train on Fridays. The Haifa-TLV line does not operate on weekends.

I just got off my first cruise and had a wonderful time! The only other cruise this season that works with my schedule wouldn't allow me to disembark at all, on a 3 night cruise. Any thoughts on whether that's worth it?

The train is great, but note it does not run on Friday or Saturday.

I offered to move to the 1.9 sailing (I'm a couple hours by train from the port so no flights). They said they'd let us know by Monday, which is cutting it a bit close.
