  1. I will be periscoping the whole 7 days for you to follow with me :)
  2. I see a few mains missing but the menu looks rather extensive, I just seem to have an inkling that with the CP perks you get a heavily reduced menu but cant be sure for certain. but none the less the menus look great! P.S when are you on Symphony?
  3. So I'm booked up on Symphony April 7th in a Central park balcony stateroom with the EAT DRINK PLAY perks which include Complimentary lunch for two at Jamies Italian Complimentary bottle of red wine in your stateroom. Private casino gaming lessons from an onboard expert. My question is that for Jamies lunch I presume it would be on a sea day ... but this sailing the only sea day is day 7. my thoughts are that there is no way that all CP staterooms can be seated for lunch on one day so maybe they will open up Jamies for lunch on other days? Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this perk where there is only 1 sea day? Furthermore does anyone have a sample menu?
  4. I do like the sound of this so I Think for the purpose of research I will book it on my cruise planner! :D
  5. Thanks for the info, is it true you press a button when you want more meat? I saw that in the description.
  6. I've just booked Allure of the Seas for October this year under a great deal which included drinks at £1450 for 2 people in a D6 Balcony cabin. Being a cruise nerd I instantly went onto the cruise planner and saw Samba grill as a dining option. The sample menu just states "dinner" and has a long list of meats listed. I'm wondering how samba grill works as I don't see an appetisers or desserts? and do you just pick one main?
  7. Symphony of the Seas April 7th 2018, hopefully some others may be on this voyage?! I would love to meet some of you.
  8. Hi there! I will be on anthem from Saturday and can answer any questions and periscope for you, follow me on there j_keeble
  9. I am in one of these Staterooms in 3 weeks, I will be persicoping the whole room for you and can answer any further questions. Follow me on periscope J_keeble
  10. Quantum of the seas 22nd April 2018 Symphony of the Seas - 24th November 2018
  11. While I'm afraid I wont be on the Symphony group cruise on the 17th November I have managed to snag a fantastic deal on the 24th November Sailing! I managed to get a ocean view balcony room for £1450 for 2 guests, usually prices for symphony are in the £1000pp range for a balcony. This price was due to an error on the RC UK website which I exploited and has subsequently been fixed. Im just wondering if anyone has the B2B booked at all?
  12. Matt, this is on my cruise planner and has just come up yesterday. Saying that I've just tried to reserve and it won't let me. Hmmmmmmmm
  13. I for one would be happy with this, having done anthem when she first joined the fleet I loved it. I suppose as it was my first cruise I knew nothing different, saying that I'm on anthem in 3 weeks and they will all be the same menu all be it different decor.
  14. See the attached image, if it correct then I'm very happy as I always enjoyed having 4 different menus
  15. Im sailing on quantum in april from china and being a nerd I look at the cruise planner everyday. And I've noticed that all 4 original DD restaurants are listed separately and have sepearte menus. does anyone know if this is correct and there are separate restaurants?
  16. hmmmm I will be booking this for my November 11th sailing so will see if any discression is given.
  17. when do you sail I'm on her on the 11th?! I've been on Anthem twice before so know a fair bit about her. 1) We just registered for Crown and Anchor but do not have any recorded cruises as of yet. Are we considered to still have any C&A status? I would say no but after the cruise you will most probably be gold 2) Are C &A boarded before "civilians," even when they may have arrived before C&A. I believe so yes there are separate lines for each tier of the system starting at pinnacle and suite guests and then filtering down all the way to gold, although sometimes gold is not included ( might be a UK thing) 3) What is the earliest possible time we might expect to board a ship such as Anthem? I have scheduled it online for 10:30 so around then 4) We already have the major activities booked, including Northstar, Ifly, all shows and our dining reservations. I know that guest room areas aren't readily accessible as soon as you get on this ship, but have heard that other places, like a few of the restaurants and pool, are. I'd like to see if we can knock out some of the other hard to grab activities, like bumper cars, trapeze, etc. Do activities in that area of the ship tend to open up very early during the boarding process? I realize that only one activity is taking place in that area at a time. Take a look at this cruise compass that might be of help,https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compasses/anthem-of-the-seas/sun-2017-03-19-0000 its for banahams which im on but yours may be different. these activates you don't have to book its just arrive and enjoy, but things like bumper caqrs just arrive a little early and im sure you will be fine. 5) For our day in Coco Cay, we booked 2 sets of the clamshells with loungers, but I'm interested in upgrading to a daybed. Day beds are not available online and it says to check onboard. Is this because online inventory is one thing, and onboard inventory is another? My question is whether we should be making a quick visit to guest services upon arrival to see about making the change? 100% yes I would Also, as an extra bonus question- I'm open to any recommendations any of you may have regarding a beach-day in Nassau. No interest in Atlantis, Junkanoo Beach or the nearby Hilton though. I've never been to Nassau so cant help with this one
  18. Resting bird I will be periscoping the whole cruise and will certainly tell you about the differences and changes I notice.
  19. Ah yes perfect, I've been reading that only a section of the music hall has been altered, only time will tell.
  20. wow so it seems there is no music hall :( That's a massive shame
  21. I have just booked a 7 night cruise from shanghai which visits a couple of places in japan, This is on board Quantum of the Seas in a spa junior suite which we got at a fantastic rate might I add! Im very excited to try quantum out of shanghai and see how it differs from my anthem cruise in just over 2 months. I was looking at the deck plans and it appears that there is no music hall?!!!! it has been changed to 'vip casino' does anyone know anything about this at all? I know the Asian market love a good gamble but converting the whole music hall seems a little extreme to me ... Also I watched a video on quantum and the lady said that the menus in the 4 main restaurants were each different? the video was fairly recent and lady was diamond plus so obviously has some knowledge on royals dining rooms etc. any answers would be greatly appreciated :)
  22. Around April/May 2018 they go on sale I believe
