If they are picky eaters they can also order off the kids menu. I know some of the stuff does seem a little disappointing on the choices. Usually what I do is order extra of a appetizer and then just get the NY strip. Then maybe get some pizza later at Sorrentos.

Moving child from one reservation to another
dustfsu replied to Olga's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
You could see if you can change the name and ask a friend if they would want to come if you are going to be out of the money since it is too close to the sailing to get money back -
I tried a blue long island last cruise and it was good. This time I am going to try Long Beach Iced tea!!! Alaska in 25 days!!!!

Not many threads on here talking about it and kind of old, so I thought I start a new one and ask anyone for recommendations for Resort for a Day in Nassau? Thank you

Glad I am not the only one!

Maybe that is the case. Going on Quantum, but we will be in Alaska, so won't be able to judge it then.

It was working. It got cold, just not as cold as I remember. We had some friends with us on the ship and they had a clock with the temp and said their cabin was 66. Maybe I just like it cooler. Glad I brought my mini fan.
-
Sure did. We even did a little test and turned it up a little when we were out and then when we came back and you could hear it blowing good. And then you could hear it back off after a few minutes. We had a inside cabin and those back in the day when I roomed with my brother's use to get ice cold. Maybe being a bigger ship they just can't.

Just got off the Wonder of the Seas and had a great time. I have been cruising since a teenage and always liked cooler weather and cooler on the ship especially when the stops are in the Caribbean. I was thinking because of a newer ship maybe it would be kept cooler, but didn't seem like it. I have been on other Oasis classes, but most public area's and even our cabin didn't seem to get as cold like they use to. Is it me that just feels like this or has anyone noticed over the years? Bringing my little mini fan helps in the cabin for sure.

Why should we switch to a travel agent

Well if you use the ones that charge a fee then that's on you. Most of them don't like MEI and the one my parent's use -
Why should we switch to a travel agent

One reason and one reason only, they are FREE! And save you money and hassle of things. But they are free -
Port Canaveral parking question
dustfsu replied to Shannon Kinninger's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We always do self assist. Good thing is we only have a 2 and half hour drive home. -
At the top here click on cruise compass and you can look at a old one close to your sail date and itinerary and ship. They don't change the activities much unless it's a holiday cruise or something.

Port Canaveral parking question
dustfsu replied to Shannon Kinninger's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
2 hours? Were people paying in quarters having to count their change . Hopefully it's not like that in l 11 days when I go on the Wonder -
Works like any other Royal ship. You pay the upfront cost of the package. When you go to a bar you hand them your card and they give you a drink and that is it. The tip is included in the overall cost of the package. I believe it covers up to $13 dollars of a drink. So if you get a long island that is usually $16 or more you just pay the difference for the drink. When you board you won't have your card till the rooms open, so you just give them your room number to order a drink. You can also get fresh juice, smoothies, shakes at Johnny Rockets, soda, bottle water, special coffees at the cafe promenade. It doesn't cover drinks at the Starbucks kiosk. Just go on your current sailing and at the top it says beverage. The deluxe is for alcohol and all the other drinks I listed.

Since Alaska is in the US how well have you seen the cell service up there while on a cruise? And do you put your phone on airplane till you are ready to use it on an Alaskan cruise? Last has anyone had t-mobile and how well is their service up there? Going on the Quantum in July just curious if I will be able to use my phone.

How do you use your on board credit?
dustfsu replied to Eyeonhevn's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Use it all over the ship or just one lump thing. It is basically free money towards whatever you feel like onboard. Just think of it as a overall discount or coupon on purchases. -
Did you lose Crown & Anchor Points
dustfsu replied to DebsGlass's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
If your parent's have been cruising Royal Caribbean for years and you don't really start cruising after you turn 18 on Royal, you don't get their Crown and Anchor status correct? You can only get what ever level they are at by cruising before you are 18, correct? -
Favourite vs Least Favourite Ship
dustfsu replied to KellsBells71's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I haven't found a ship I don't like. I've been on a few of the Oasis class ships can't wait for the Wonder in April, few Voyager and going on the Quantum in July, so I will get to see how that class is. Haven't been on the smaller Vision or the or Freedom class. I think I would like the Freedom, but not sure about the Vision class other then the ports they can get into. I did do the Empress way back in 2005, but had a good time. -

I hope he is still on when I get on the Wonder at the end of April. I would like to see him again -
