We got the Key for tomorrow's cruise on The Independence. Since our cabin won't be ready until after lunch, how do we find out about the special lunch that comes with The Key? Do we just show up in the MDR? And what time is that lunch available?

I booked free tests for 2 different Walgreens in case one would cancel us for some reason. Worked out great this morning. Results emailed in less than 2 hours!

Is the breakfast at a set time?

We purchased The Key & we see that a different breakfast is offered on debarkation day. What time is it, where is it served and how does that work regarding our luggage...if we decide to walk off with our luggage?

I purchased an excursion & at the same time purchased a Cafe Select Coffee Card for my husband. We decided to cancel the excursion & it looked like the coffee card was also cancelled because I couldn't see it anymore, so I booked it again. Now I see there are 2 booked for my husband, which I didn't think was possible, so I cancelled one of them. Most "add-ons" say "reserved" after you book them, but this one doesn't.

I think I read that certain tasks/information are available on RC's "free" WiFi. Can I assume they have to do with onboard activities, schedules, menus, etc? We are not planning to purchase an internet package.

Are you notified when your cabin is ready (e.g. by text) or do you have to keep checking the cabin yourself? It's a long time since we've cruised!

Haven't cruised in 12 years. What opens your cabin door...the SetSail pass or are u given a key card, and when do you get it? Also, are any documents or cruise items sent in the mail? I did access my cruise documents, luggage tags & SetSail pass online or in the app. I'm just curious because my mail is currently being forwarded from my regular address & I don't want to miss anything! Thanks!

Are there still beach beds on Coco Cay's South Beach? I see them listed as available to purchase for the day but read posts that they no longer exist there. If they do still have them, is that a preferred location over Chill Island & Breezy Bay, as far as beach beds go?

Are pool mats included in the Coco Cay Beach Club regular admission or just with the cabanas? I just saw a blog that says they are included but I don't see it on RC's website.

Being seniors and traveling alone, we can't wait to be away from the Internet since we can't seem to get away from it at home. The first few times that we cruised, texting did not even exist and somehow we survived. If there is an emergency at home, our loved ones know what ship we're on and how to contact us. Looking forward to being "independent" on the Independence!

If you used an onboard credit toward a pkg that you cancel, then rebook at a lower cost, does the onboard credit get automatically applied to the 3nd purchase?

If you purchase a pkg using an onboard credit, then cancel because the price drops & re-purchase, what happens to the onboard credit?

Water bottles with filters...Brita, for example. Load them with ice and as much water as you can, and they filter as you drink. No need to carry on bottles or to buy canned water on the ship.

Are little hotpots permitted in the cabins in case I want to heat water for a late night cup of tea or coffee? It's 12 years since we cruised on RC & there weren't any open coffee/tea stations in the evening like we always had on NCL.

Same thing happened to me on a recently booked Bahamas cruise and I found out from an RC agent  that the allotment for MTD was filled, but in our case they automatically put us in the 5:30 seating. Doesn't really matter to us because we prefer going to the buffet where the same food is available and we can sit by ourselves & have a nice quiet dinner.
