No VPN, never have used one.

Try releasing your IP address and renewing it: In the search bar type: CMD and select Run as Admin > type: ipconfig /release then press enter > type: ipconfig /flushdns then press enter > type ipconfig /renew then press enter (notice there is a space between ipconfig and /release) > Try logging in

Try creating a new profile on the computer and use that profile to log in.  To create a new login profile follow these steps: Create Profile

Make sure to setup the profile as an admin.  If that works you can always delete the original profile since the new one is an admin profile or you can leave it be of course.

  2. I do IT at a school and we require MFA when not on our network.  We use Microsoft MFA and if you are using Outlook and it requires MFA, then you are as well.  Your IT person can go into Azure AD and add email as a second authentication method which will allow you to get your code while connected to the ships WiFi and not worry about cell service.  You will only need one device going this route.  Also, ask your IT department if they block traffic from outside of your home area.  I know it may sound crazy, but we block traffic from VPN's or traffic outside of the Central Florida area to our network as a security measure.  We can unblock it on case by base basis, so if they do block it just ask to be exempted.

*** I personally stay away from the Microsoft Authentication app because if you get a new phone you will need your IT person to reset it in order for it to work ***

  3. Directly from Royal:

    US HOMEPORT

    • It is recommended that guests are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, if they are eligible.
    • While vaccination documents will not be required to board, we will ask that guests disclose their vaccination status to us prior to boarding (via the app, on our website, or at the terminal). We recommend they bring their vaccination documents with them, as local authorities or businesses in some destinations require it for entrance.

    Testing Requirements

North American* + Caribbean Homeports Testing

Applies to US*, Puerto Rico, Canada and Barbados homeports

              *excludes sailings that touch Bermuda

    • Guests age 12 and older who are not vaccinated will need to take a test within 3 days of testing regardless of length of the sailing.
    • Guests age 12 and older who are vaccinated do not need to test on sailings of 9 nights or less. They will need to test within 3 days of sailing for cruises 10N and longer.
    • Guests under 12 do not have testing requirements.

CVS has been a bust for me. They told me they could do the PCR but would provide results in 3-4 days, and they said no rapid testing is available through them  now. Not sure about Fed x getting it here in time before we leave for the cruise as they have been reporting delays in my area plus they sometimes rely on the USPS for the back end of their deliveries which is very unreliable and slow here.  I know Walgreens is making it available, but not until after we leave. We have until 48 hours before the cruise to cancel if we cannot come up with something.

Tom, if you can make your way down to Brevard County (Viera specifically) you can test at the Brevard Public Health department and they only do walk ins, no appointments.  I called them last week to verify that they do the rapid antigen test and they were very familiar with using that testing for cruising.  We preregistered for Tuesday for our tests.  I've driven by there several times and have never seen a line of cars there.
