This is true. There is also usually a day one discount, where if you dine at a specialty restaurant on the first night there is usually a 20% off discount.

A 20% discount is offered for the specialty restaurants if you dine there on the first night.  I've never heard of a 3rd night discount.  If you book 3 or more specialty restaurants, though, you will receive 20% or more off of each of them; the discount increases with the number of restaurant reservations booked.

I would recommend bringing samples of what you'd like, too, that you might find in wedding magazines. For instance, one of my favorite shots with my wife is our faces together underneath her veil.

We had two hours of photography but he spent more time with us then that. Probably helped we were on a ship that didn't get a lot of weddings. There was only 4 of us (guess you call that a REALLY small group). We were also able to split the photos into two days which meant we all had to get dressed up twice but it allowed us to do outside shots on a beautiful day. 
 
Our photographer was pretty good at what he did. He was very nice! I wouldn't call him a professional and some shots were disappointing, but others were great! Honestly, I could imagine some would be less experienced but I suspect the bigger ships that have A LOT more weddings would also have more experienced photographers. 
 
My advice would be. Don't be afraid to speak up if you want a different location (they were very accommodating for us). Take the time of day into consideration (I even thought about the direction the ship was facing) and make sure he's taking the pictures at the highest resolution he can.

My friend got married and used the photo package (1 hour) and I think she said they all came out well.  In fact, it seemed like the photographers stayed a little longer than the 1 hour they stipulated (no promises that will happen for you too)

Yes, I believe we were given a price sheet for several different "additional" photo packages. I will try and find the menu. Adding the addition photos beforehand was significantly less expensive than deciding on board that you wanted more than the original 20. For us 1 hour was perfect but the photographer did a fantastic job getting us around the ship. And we had to keep moving. Also were n a smaller ship. I am sure yours will be equally as good. Keep in mind that they will take you all over the ship. Casino, spiral glass stair cases, carousel, aqua theater, helipad, outside prominade, etc. For us, an extra hour would have been a waste, but we aren't people to,stage every shot, and we told our photographer that she was the pro and we just follow her lead and directions .

I was incorrect in my previous post. All of the options did include the extra hour. Email yur coordinator and ask if you if she can put some packages together that only includes the extra photos. They love to get money up front. Don't be surprised if they aren't terribly quick to respond. I will try to attach our options menu. Things have changed a lot even in the past 8 months and we weren't on an Oasis class ship. By the way the cake REALLY is great.

Hi floatme, did you think one hour was enough for photos? Were you given an option to prepay for photos only? I have only been given an option for 1 hour additional photography and 20 extra photos. The extra one hour is what I'm not sure about. I don't know if we'll need an extra hour. We are getting married on oasis and have never cruised before....Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hi, is anyone able to offer advice on photography packages? I am getting married next month on oasis and not sure whether to upgrade the photography package. We are a small party, under 15 of us. Will one hour be enough for photos? I would like group shots after the ceremony and I would like photos in the different neighbourhoods of ship. Did you like your photos? I've read that they can be hit or miss. Any insights would be much appreciated. Thanks!
