Does anyone know when it usually takes place? Wondering if my TA is off, can I somehow take advantage of the sale?

It's been awhile since my initial post and I want to be sure I have all this advice correct... Android - Galaxy Note 10 Plus Getting Voom When I get on ship? I turn off airplane mode. Do I turn Mobile Data off also? (I remember having to do that on prior cruises) Turn on wifi (see RC's wifi connection under connections?) Turn on wifi calling. Text or call as I usually do. No need for Whatsapp or any messenger service. Thanks so much!

How long does the credit usually take if I cancel and rebook a beverage package? When I changed cruise dates the agent told me he would cancel my beverage package and I can rebook it. I did so, but credit not issued. Did this about 2 weeks ago.

Thanks. We live in Tampa and I looked like I was going out to the Tundra when I walked the dog this morning....50's brrrr.

I did the counting thing and researched cabin #'s on line. Called RC to change cabin from one we had to the one next to it which I concluded had couch by balcony. They told me that they "couldn't guarantee it", but would ask for it to be done. I'm thinking that the standard balcony cabins on the Serenade all have the bed by the balcony.

I remember cruising from Ft. Lauderdale years ago the 2nd week of December and it was absolutely freezing when we boarded ship. Don't remember where we went or when it got warm. We are sailing from Tampa same timeframe and wondering what the "usual" number of sailing hours would be to warm up on a cruise to Mexico. I know there are no guarantees!

I read how to find out if a cabin has bed or couch by window (regular balcony). Called to change our cabin to the one next to it 8512 to 8514 since I wanted couch by balcony. RC rep told my TA that perhaps bed and couch "can be arranged".....not guranteed... I've looked into many Serenade balcony photos online and didn't see any with the couch next to the window. Thought this was odd. Has anyone had the couch by the balcony?

Representative asked me if we wanted a large or small table when I changed my reservation for December 2021 cruise.

I switched to a cabin on the front of the ship, Deck 8

Just called about my reservation...Was told my cost was better than that with a military discount...Oh well

I forgot to tell my TA that hubby is a vet, 3 years service. Really hard to get in touch with her....Is it worth the wait on the phone? Not sure if they would give extra discount or tell me we already received a 30% off promotional discount.

I remember being offered good discounts for specialty restaurants on my past RC cruises. Do you usually wait until onboard to book or book on the RC site? (We are on the Serenade...Will be interesting since we usually cruise on larger ships.)

A friend of mine who changed her cabin was told by RC that it's fine to get there early!

Read that more than 3 ships must tender. Is there anyway of telling if we will be docked or tendered? Serenade 12/14 cruise. Will be in Costa Maya 12/16.

Can you see the sea when you're sitting down on a Deck 7 balcony that has the white lifeboat cover extension at your feet? I know you cannot see directly down, but wondering if it really is a probelm if you're sitting down. Tx

I'm hoping this is correct. What time of year is sargassum? Sargassum Forecast for Seaweed Season in Mexico in 2021. In Mexico, sargassum seaweed season is generally between May and October each year. If you travel to the Caribbean coast of Mexico outside of that time period you can generally expect to avoid large mats of seaweed on the beaches.

Is there a way we can tell which cabins have bed near the door or window on SOS?
