Our first cruise was on Navigator of the seas and the second one was on Freedom of the seas. While both were top notch, I would say that Navigator was better. As Tmsmith mentionned, Freedom has more things to offer if you have kids and/or teenagers.

I’ve been on 7 cruises on the Freedom. It is one of my favorite RCCL ships. I’ve only been on the Navigator once. They are very similar but the Freedom is newer and has the cantilevered hot tubs that are nice.

We have sailed on both ships numerous times and enjoy the size of both classes. For a group varied in age, Freedom will have more to do.
