  1. Hope this isn't a ridiculous question

RC's website says they're open 24 hrs a day to book cruises. If you have a room booked but want to take advantage of a new sale, when can you call? Midnight eastern time of the day the new sale starts?

Also, if a TA has your reservation, can you still call to upgrade your room?

  2. I had gallbladder attacks for months until I finally said enough and had them take it out. They started only lasting 10 minutes and moved up to days. How long do your attacks last? Does anything help them?

Interestingly enough, I had a kidney stone on my honeymoon cruise on Disney. They had enough pain relievers to get me through the cruise (I never even saw the doctor). I knew what was happening as we were driving to the port, but I figured I could either be miserable at home or miserable on a cruise ship. I took the ship.

You also want to remember that the food on the cruise ship will more than likely be fattier than what you are used to eating. This could trigger the attacks more often. I definitely second the trip insurance that covers medical transportation home. That could run 25k plus without.

You might want to check out the Hulda Clark gallbladder flush too

  3. How many people in your party?  I've found that the cost quickly becomes less to rent a car one way, but also understand the 'overhead' of picking up and dropping off a rental just to drive 45-60 mins is quickly burdensome.

The rental places won't be open early enough for us unfortunately.  We are doing a one way rental for the night before the cruise.

  4. Looking for recommendations for a company to take us to MCO when we get off the cruise.  We have a relatively early flight and will be doing express disembarkation first thing in the morning, so we will be off before the rental cars open up.  Any suggestions?  The last time we booked a company, there was a miscommunication about pick up time and we sat outside for an hour and a half.  Need to make sure this doesn't happen this time.

  5. So I have some experience with this considering we didn't eat in the MDR only.

I'll think about it some more, but keep in mind that 150 Central Park has 2 different menus (early in the week and late in the week).  We will be eating their twice on our Christmas cruise.

Will you have access to Coastal Kitchen? *ahem*
