So, in your opinion (which I trust), is the UDP worth it on a very full Allure Christmas cruise ? If the full price guests max out the best reservations then it would appear I’m not getting good value for my money.

If you have the UDP you have to wait until you board the ship to make restaurant reservations. So, does that mean those guests who pay for single nights and can make a time reservation right now have priority over those who have a UDP?

If three (3) separate family groups are linked on the website, can just one linked person perform check-in for all the groups? This will coordinate boarding times for all groups.

When doing my check-in online, do I have to complete all the required information at once or can I finish it at a later time?

Does online check-in open at 1201 AM on the designated date? Is the time zone tied to the port of embarkation?

Go on the cruise. You will enjoy it. Forget about Amplification.

The departure schedule for ships leaving from Port Canaveral are published many, many months in advance. SpaceX and NASA screwed the pooch by neglecting to avoid a scheduling conflict. The original launch was in fact scheduled for Saturday but was rescheduled to Sunday due to weather. Harmony was always scheduled to depart on Sunday, weather be damned.

Make sure to take daily/evening advantage of the Concierge Lounge. And don’t forget to give the Concierge a nice tip on the last night. They work wonders for suite guests.

Sailing on Allure. On embarkation day, if I have the UDP, is the Chops lunch in the MDR open to me or is it restricted only to those who have The Key?

speed of service, attention to detail, attention to drink refills, showing genuine concern for the food quality and promptly correcting any deficiency, response to special requests, e.g. ice cream or key lime pie for breakfast (yes I did!)

Yes, if the service was better than average. The service we had all the specialty restaurants was outstanding and rewarded as such. An extra $5-10 was usual depending on the venue.
