What would be the earliest flight out of Miami that you would you book to return home? Hopefully stress free.

Good to know, I have heard less than good experiences on some of the discount airlines and I wanted to make sure that Jet Blue wasn't like that.

I've never flown Jet Blue and wanted to know how good and reliable they are. We mostly fly American, United, and Southwest. Thanks.
  4. I just booked a cruise on Infinity and I have never been on Celebrity. We have Elite status because of our Royal Caribbean status. We also have a suite booked. If anyone could give me any input or information, I would appreciate it. Thanks
  5. Is there any benefit like extra onboard credit?
  6. Can you book a Celebrity cruise at Royal Caribbean Next Cruise and if so, is there any benefit? Thanks
  7. I usually fly in the day before but I might need to take a red eye in because of logistics. I have an annual Allianz policy but thought the extra protection would be nice. Any input would be helpful.
  8. If you use Air To Sea and the flight is on American and you use an American credit card, would you still get 2 free bags? Thank you.
  9. I think that's why an Oasis ship in Galveston will be wonderful. Many people cruise just for the ships. They are also planning more perfect day destinations and I would bet they will be in range of Galveston.
  10. That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks
  11. Thanks, I might try her because the timing works. We started on Vision class but I think we might get a little bored on those ships now. We cruise for the ships but I think a 4 or 5 day relaxing cruise would be nice. My other question is regarding Butlers. I personally would not like a Genie because I feel they would be too much for us. Are the butlers similar. Thanks
  12. I have never cruised on Celebrity. Our preference on Royal are the bigger ships, at least Voyager class. Has anyone been on Infinity and what is your opinion? Thanks
  13. We'll just have to disagree. My point is that a $3 million dollar award was reduced to $640 thousand and then reduced even further in an out of court settlement after the threat of another appeal. The relevant point to this discussion is that even if this ever goes to court, a jury can award anything but the final outcome can be very different.
  14. I believe that case was abuse, regardless of what it did to public perception. Does anyone know the true temperature of the coffee she received? Does anyone know if any injuries were prevented because of this? What extent were the injuries involved in the other complaints? A burnt tongue. A pizza burn on the roof of their mouth. I could argue this for days but that was not my point. My point was that juries can award whatever they want and on appeal these awards are greatly reduced and or eliminated. This is what the public never hears about. Myself and others are obviously in disagreement. I accept that and as I said, i will just leave it at that. In reality, our opinions are meaningless in this and I truly was not trying to start an argument.
  15. Sorry, I wasn't trying to repeat myself. I accidentally sent the same message twice.
  16. Exactly, this whole case is about distraction. As to my detractor, you are totally entitled to your opinion. I totally disagree with you. I wasn't looking for an argument so I'll just leave it at that.
  17. It is ridiculous. If you were to use that same logic and apply it to everything, everything would be deemed dangerous and society couldn't function. It's a dog and poney legal argument that fools suckers.
  18. I apologize because this is somewhat off the topic but here is a different perspective. If McDonald's is negligent for anything, it would be because of their unhealthy food. I'm waiting for the suits from obese people and diabetics for being served dangerous food. People all know this, willingly eat it, and will eventually be victims. Are people ever personally responsible for their actions? Often, the answer seems to be no.
  19. It's similar to smokers suing cigarette companies. I guess people have different perspectives on personal responsibility. Involving this tragic event, it is hard to see the logic behind their arguments.
  20. Your example is perfect. How many of those people had had McDonald's coffee before, but no one knew it was hot? It's a poor argument.
  21. I still call it baseless and disagree with the conclusion. My point, however is that there are far fewer and far smaller awards than the media would have you believe. People suffer harm all the time. That doesn't automatically mean there is fault and and there awards.
  22. The woman who burned herself from the coffee was originally awarded almost $3million . She eventually received $ 640 thousand. Still ridiculous.
  23. What a lot of people don't realize is that when someone wins a baseless lawsuit and receives a large reward, they get appealed. Often the rewards are greatly reduced or even eliminated. That is not newsworthy and so people don't know about it. If companies just relented and settled, it would only encourage more suits which is really a form of extortion. I still think this is a desperate attempt to protect the grandfather. We are all just speculating as we are not privy to all the facts.
  24. This is true but is it right to bring harm to the company that did nothing wrong?
  25. The accusations against the cruise line are most likely all smoke and mirrors. The grandfather may likely face prison time for criminal negligence. After a tragedy like this, a reasonable person would seek out a defense attorney. I would not doubt it if this attorney was found to try to deflect blame. What other defense would they have. There were plenty of witnesses and likely a recording. It's probably the best they could come up with to help grandpa.
