Pretty sure they didn't have "double double" but they should have got double for single in a full fare double room... I'm still uncertain about the double double and looking more to see how complicated it would be to switch a guest out and new one in their place...

Tried the email route looking for a tie breaker. Guess that takes a few days to get an answer other than the automated "we got your message and will get back to you" ... Dawns on me that if the one drops out we might have enough time to replace him. (We will need to do that for sure on spring cruise). Is that a big complicated thing to get done???

Theres no ghost here. Real person. School attendance might become a last minute issue but not sure. Trying to get a grip on what is or isn't. The reps on the phone said "yes" the reps on line said "no". Are they both right or both wrong or just one? I stull really don't know... So I'm still kind of at square one. I was really looking to see if there is something I need to do on my part to get those points or if something to do to not be assessed some kind of no show fee (wasn't sure if there is one beyond no refund).

I misunderstood and misspoke about the date. It was because I had this booked before Sept 30. 2021 that I get the first double points. The second double according to the phone rep would be in place if I do wind up solo and having paid double for the cabin... The social media gal sticking to her guns I don't get anything???

Your answer makes total sense. So many times I deal with reps that have differing opinions in other areas . Why not this one? I come here with these questions because I find our membership often has the right answers when reps themselves get a touch confused...

What happens if one in a party fails to show up for a cruise? Would the single remaining in the room get double points? What steps would they need to do to get them? How much advance notice needs to be given to RCL?

I'm being tested like Jobe.... Missing is Alison's son and inserted Carol is my mom. The only RCL she has been on was Jan3-7, 2000.... The IT lock out was experienced by quite a few so I didn't feel so lonely with that one.

Its like Royal said , "we want you two to stay married or we're taking your points". I got burnt for 40 she got hammered for 33... Oh well... It ,however, may have something to do with the divorce indirectly. They were looking to separate points as she and I had a couple slightly different cruises over the years, and that was about the time it got all screwed up.

I used to care. I've grown numb to it... I don't drink so thats about the only real perk I'd get if I got to diamond, and it wouldn't be used... My ex wife lost 33 points and pretty much the same time frame. Think it happened when trying to straighten out our individual points after the divorce... (Which was and still is a very friendly one)

If you have read some of my stuff you know I'm one of those unfortunate to have had 14 years and about 40 c+a points lost. That still hasn't been fixed after about three years but a solution might be fairly close. No receipts to back up the missing trips but other things to be presented at loyalty desk to fix maybe.... Thats not what this post is about though. A lot of us have been getting the vaccination requests. Some like me, every few days. I fill out the info and they say thank you. Ok, that would be "normal". Todays request came with a twist though...... It requested info for three who are on the sailing then for my Mom? She hasn't sailed RCL since 2000... She used to cruise a lot but with Crystal or Princess or other high dollar exotic lines (Not the fun ones like this). She gave up cruising some years back. She's 85 now and little tough getting around but still sharp. I would love to know what glitch in the IT system added her to this roster. I don't get mad , I am more often amused... Each time I think they have out done themselves they top it! They lose all that stuff for me (and my ex) but can some how dig up a one time passenger from a cruise 21 years ago and tie them into a cruise they aren't part of...

Can't give you specifics on the tech but my Fiance's son is a big time "gamer" and was happy on his runs. I know on Anthem and others in that class they have a large section of the "Sea Plex" set aside for serious play... Her daughter doesn't game but she has made countless friends that she keeps in touch with on regular basis... She just turned 18 and is bummed she can't teen club it any more...

This one is the 6th as well.... Her daughter deserves it. So is "difficult" at times but I can't play favorites. Daughter earned scholarship at school and earned this trip.... My very original booking had good dates on Indy and a pretty good itinerary. They changed ships on me, then itinerary, then dates... I really needed to make this addition. I could have done a "shift" but chose to ramp it up for everybody... Though not "needed" we're gonna fly the girls to EWR from Vermont I think then possibly drive them back up...

I have the getting beaten down to a science... Many a fishing trip that time of year involves wind, spray, even snow.... It hopefully will give us a break at the other end. but I know it can be special there as well... I think the girls will find enough stuff to amuse aboard....

Fiance' was distraught about school dates on a Mariner run in late March leaving her college age daughter back on the beach... Daughter is at school at UVM with an early spring break... Fiance' too shy to ask. Early March I'm flexible and plans have me in Jersey at that time. So.... I pulled the trigger in an Anthem run from Cape Liberty... Gets daughter and a friend out on a week long ride. Keeping the other reservation intact and her son can also bring a friend keeps it fair. Heck I can even take them hog hunting or big game fishing to make up for the two less days they will have on board. I like being as even and fair as I can... Oddly enough I have been part time charter fishing Jersey most of my 45 year career and never jumped on a cruise ship out of here. Couldn't begin to guess how many cruise ships that have brushed right past me including Anthem over that time. I can see the port some days while fishing but not close enough to know anything about it. Anthem has passed within a few yards of me a few times. Impressive gal. Is she as impressive inside? How about Friendly? And out right fun? What things do I want to check out on her versus other classes of ships? The port? easy access to major roads and easy parking? Its gonna be a ride back to UVM when we return to the port... I've always used south Florida ports and have a "feel" for them. If I can get back on major roads easy from the port I'll relax for the ride quicker... As always tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated....

It would be nice... All this rule changing and stuff making me nuts. I was supposed to work in Bahamas til the day before my Cruise. Now with the tests at 2 days its really got things screwed up. I had to give up that whole week of work before. Trying to organize tests with CVS, Urgent Care, Walgreens all shaky at best. Not having skill with the online stuff has me nervous as well. Hell , I don't even know how to scan that code thing... Then fly my group in from three different airports...

Great... All my units came back fine... The app though still wiped out my check ins and boarding times... I waited up that night to midnight to get the earliest check ins>>>
