  1. Hope so because I've never been and it's the reason why I chose this itinerary. But I saw a reporter reporting from Nassau a couple nights ago and sea surge was high according to him. So I'm concerned about flooding not wind damage.
  2. So Royal hasn't said anything about a change in itinerary for my sailing. What are the chances that my itinerary gets changed again? I'm thinking it's very likely. Especially St Kitts, have an independent excursion but the people have stopped emailing me, so I'm guessing power is out, they have much bigger worries etc. Don't think things will be normal for a while. Anyone know how bad Nassau was hit or not hit?
  3. So if you are diabetic and have glucose tablets with you, they will confiscate them? Hope not cause I'm going to take a video of them doing that and if anything happens...
  4. Went to RC site to see the updates. Looks like Port Canaveral and Miami will have ships in port. They must see something that other cruise companies don’t see? They have a full time meteorologist so I’m confused how they expect people to fly in? Wouldn’t they know airlines would cancel flights rather than risk getting equipment damaged or stranded in a hurricane?
  5. The post title says 2nd the letter says 4th which day are you referring to? Would expect RC to cancel or delay any departure on the 4th.
  6. May God have mercy and spare the lives of everyone in Dorian's path.
  7. From RCL website: One of the best things about cruising is the food! And there will be many dining options available to suit most tastes and preferences. However you are free to bring non-perishable prepackaged food in limited quantities. While we have many drink offerings onboard, you are welcomed to bring select beverages onboard. On boarding day, each stateroom may bring up to two 750 ml bottles of wine or champagne, as long as one guest is of legal drinking age. Corkscrews will be provided for guests to enjoy their drinks in their stateroom. If guests wish to enjoy their wine or champagne in our dining or bar venues, there will be a corkage fee applied. Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Non-alcoholic beverages may not exceed 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom. Milk and distilled water brought on for infant, medical, or dietary use are permitted. Guests who purchase alcohol bottles onboard, in a port-of-call, or bring more than the two permitted bottles on boarding day, will have their items safely stored by the ship. These bottles will be returned on the last day onboard for enjoyment once home.
  8. That's interesting. Never heard of that card. I'll look into that for next time.
  9. @gtgtgt that's my plan the day before we return go when it opens and check all the pictures. Then check to make sure I can download it.
  10. Oh not good! Just bought the digital only package. Maybe I can go to the photo place and ask to see what they are sending me?
  11. Thank you @MO & LO on the go! and @PatsFanBrian.
  12. If I buy just the digital package I’m assuming that I get ALL the pictures of us. Am I mistaken?
  13. Normally I’d pass on these kind of packages. Don’t know if we’ll go again so it would be nice to have memories from the ship.
  14. Thanks! I’ll have to think more about this.
  15. Been waiting for a sale on the extremely expensive photo package. Question is what do you get with the digital only package and what do you get with the digital and print package? What size are the prints and how many? The description in the planner doesn’t say anything about this. Thanks for any information!
  16. Are you serious!? Super happy we got travel insurance. Hope they aren’t doing that this time to people.
  17. This really sucks if you get the short end of the reschedule. Hope you get a good deal whatever you decide.
  18. According to the RC website looks like the Allure's itinerary has changed: Allure 8/25/19 Sailing We’re now extending this sailing and will return on Wednesday, 9/4/19. We’ve added a visit Roatan on 8/31/19 and Costa Maya on 9/1/19. We will then have two sea days before we return to Fort Lauderdale on 09/04/19. DATES DAY ORIGINAL ITINERARY REVISED ITINERARY 8/25 Sunday Fort Lauderdale, Florida Fort Lauderdale, Florida 8/26 Monday Cruisng Cruising 8/27 Tuesday Labadee, Haiti Labadee, Haiti 8/28 Wednesday Falmouth, Jamaica Falmouth, Jamaica 8/29 Thursday Cruising Cruising 8/30 Friday Cozumel, Mexico Cozumel, Mexico 8/31 Saturday Cruising Roatan, Honduras 9/01 Sunday Fort Lauderdale, Florida Costa Maya, Mexico 9/02 Monday - Cruising 9/03 Tuesday - Cruising 9/04 Wednesday - Fort Lauderdale, Florida Allure 9/01/19 Sailing We’ve had to shorten this sailing, unfortunately, and will now depart on Wednesday, 9/4/19. The itinerary will remain the same for the days left of the voyage. DATES DAY ORIGINAL ITINERARY REVISED ITINERARY 9/01 Sunday Fort Lauderdale, Florida - 9/02 Monday Cruising - 9/03 Tuesday Labadee, Haiti - 9/04 Wednesday Falmouth, Jamaica Fort Lauderdale, Florida 9/05 Thursday Cruising Cruising 9/06 Friday Cozumel Cozumel 9/07 Saturday Cruising Cruising 9/08 Sunday Fort Lauderdale, Florida Fort Lauderdale, Florida My questions are what if you needed to be back in port on Sunday? Does Royal assist you with flying home from Roatan or Costa Maya? Does Royal provide hotel accommodations for those on the 9-1 sailing until 9-4?
  19. @Lovetocruise2002 thanks for the link I'll be sure to help the blog out.
  20. That's why I asked here because I trust the information here!! Side question @Matt are you doing live YouTube this Monday and what time do you start? This past week I was late and trying to figure out how to do a super chat. The guy stole my spot light!! LOL!! Oh support via blog better than YouTube? Don't know if YouTube takes a cut of superchats?
  21. Just curious if the Allure is held out at sea or Cozumel how does it affect the next cruise and the cruise after that? According to a travel report on YouTube there's a possibility of Allure returning Tuesday or Wednesday instead of Sunday.
