  1. Good grief! That stinks! We are taking this cruise on the 13th and I was afraid of this kind of weather. I’m just glad we don’t have to worry about a hurricane and hoping for the best. ? Sorry it ruined your views!

My family and I went to Mt Rushmore last year and we couldn’t see it for the first two days due to fog.

  2. We are sailing on the Ovation in two weeks and we booked a junior suite. We have never sailed in a suite before so I was looking at additional perks and I am excited to try Coastal Kitchen! Is it limited access to CK as a junior suite guest or can we make dinner reservations as available? Thanks!

  3. We arrive between 9:30 and 10, typically. We are diamond plus so we usually don't have to wait very long after security to board the ship. Two years ago when we sailed on the Allure, we arrived later than we ever have and walked straight onto the ship after security at 10:30 because they were already boarding our group.

  4. This morning somebody did a #2 outside of the windjammer, crew have masks on while wiping down surfaces in and around the Adventure Ocean area and they called crew to the theatre for “Alpha Alpha Alpha”. Based on my MIL’s account of being on a recent RC cruise with a  norovirus outbreak, it’s sounding like people are getting sick on this ship. Anybody have suggestions, or experience?

  5. Has anybody experienced fog in the Galveston port? We just drove from Iowa to Galveston and the fog is thick! My husband made a joke about our cruise being delayed, as it appears it will be a problem tomorrow when the Liberty is supposed to be coming in. So now I’m worried about my (our) vacation. Has anybody else experienced delays due to fog? How long were the delays, what is the protocol, what does RCI do?
