Forgive me if this is already out there. I searched and couldn't find any answers. I'm not a fan of Nassau and have already seen Atlantis. I'm thinking about doing the beach break, but would like to know if it is worth the money. Also, one of them said you can rent snorkel gear for an extra fee... does anyone know what kind of prices they are? I'm sailing in October and need to make a decision pretty quick!

Welcome aboard Mutt! I have not been to CocoCay but I am an avid scuba diver and snorkeler. In order to see underwater marine life you have to find underwater structure, ie, a reef (natural or man made), grass covered sandbar, etc. Snorkeling off of a beach in waist to chest high water is similar to walking in a desert...and what will you see there? A lot of sand and no life. 

I just called Sandy Toes on Rose Island yesterday to add a drink package ($39 for a day of drinking) and right now, there are 9 people booked on our trip during the 4NOV Anthem cruise.  The minimum they sail with is 10, max is 40. Think about it, imagine 10-15 of you, with 5 of those being my own group, going to essentially your own private island for the day. There's no way you can beat that.

No worries.  It's priced the same as all of the others without alcohol included. I don't mind paying a few dollars more if that's the case to know that we will truly be on a private beach joined by no more than 50 others, all with the same goal of relaxing without crowds around.

I've been known to use this method myself, but one could argue I often act like an 11 yo.
