I hope when the time comes to make the change, RC doesn’t change their answer! I’m keeping the email from my TA as reference. It will make the airline fares somewhat more palatable.

I thought if we canceled our third guest, RC would reprice the cruise & there would be very little difference AND they might move us to a J2 cabin. BUT my TA called & they told her no reprice, just a refund of my daughter’s portion of the total and no cabin move. We have til final payment to decide. What a nice surprise!

Mine too but there’s no indication there that $31 is a sale price.

No menu that I know of. My daughter mentioned she loved Indian food and it magically appeared every night for her. Sometimes it was a special appetizer, sometimes it was a main course but something every night.

Didn’t think the coffee cards went on sale even precruise?

Our filet on Harmony in March was pretty awful. We didn’t find the food in CK to be appreciably better than MDR and frankly our server was kinda snooty. I really wanted to enjoy it more than I did.

I did everyone’s on my phone while we were driving to the port. Ditto the safety briefing.

May be what we should expect but not what seems to happen with Royal. As you seemed to have done, after a couple of weeks, I would have disputed the charge with my CC company and let them deal with it.

We did everything on our own. As I said, we got 3 day transportation passes. Both the aquarium and Crystal Caves are on the bus route. The bus driver can tell you when to get off. We took the ferry from Kings Wharf to St Georges and the bus back to Hamilton.

Did your GF not notice she had a credit from RCCL that didn’t belong to her?

M poor grandson spent about 6 hours in the wave pool at CocoCay and running to the Snack Shack. As we were leaving, he looks at me, turns green & says “I don’t feel good”. God love the girl at the towel station “right over by that bush sweetheart, we’ll clean it up”. Then she took him to the bar & got him a can of ginger ale. What a great employee.

Would also suggest checking to see if the gratuities were prepaid with the cruise fare. Either way, a very generous gift.

I think you might notice that SpeedNoodles is a highly regarded member of this blog and indeed a moderator. Her comment about TAs comes from experience and is echoed by many of us here.

Our very first cruise in May, 2002, we definitely watched the Stanley Cup finals. In March of this year, they showed the NCAA basketball tournament. World Series in 2018. I think they get the broadcast rights to the big events.

And I don’t think those people understand the difference between moot and mute.

I travel through MCO several times a year & find it very easy to navigate. I guess it’s what you are used to. It’s also only 2 1/2 hrs non stop. FLL will be more like 5-6 . I would much prefer sailing out if PC or Tampa. But I needed an 8 day to reach Diamond.

Hartford CT. No non-stops either way for FLL or MIA & the Miami flights are terrible both in schedule and price. MCO is so much easier for us. Now I wish I hadn’t booked out of Miami. This was just to take advantage of the double points to get to Diamond quicker.

You will need to follow the rules for submitting a certificate of recovery. You will very likely test positive so instead there is a procedure for showing a positive lab test (not the at home self test) and something from your doctor. I’m not sure of the exact process. Someone will chime in here and/or you can check on the Royal website under Healthy Sail Protocol. BTW, a positive test prior to cruise will allow you (force you actually) to cancel. It’s not part of CWC. It’s keeping positive cases off the ship!

So is this their new plan to get people to stop repricing CP purchases?!?!!

I don’t know how anyone could give you an accurate answer to this. Weatherman can’t tell what’s gonna happen next week with any degree of certainty. No way to tell 2+ months from now!

So a 12:35 is doable? My daughter, travel companion extraordinaire and our personal Uber, had decided she can’t make this trip. (Do you think she’s trying to tell me something??). So now instead of the only semi-awful non-stop fares to & from MCO, I have to get the God-awful 1 stop ones to/from Ft Lauderdale. I’ve paid less for 3 RT than that 12:35 is for 1 person 1 way. I want to go on this cruise less and less.
