Hubby retired at 63. I’m still working to carry the health insurance. We have been saving everything we can for a long time so when we retired, we could travel. I’m also still hoping for the lottery, or single payer, affordable national healthcare!!

So you all recommend this beach club? Hubby, adult daughter & I will be in Cozumel 10/30 and I am struggling to come up with a plan. Originally wanted to do the caverns in Playa del Carmen but....

From your mouth to God's ear!!! Hubby retired last year, 3 to go for me. But cruising is VERY high on our list. I think this will be the start of a beautiful friendship!!!!

That is my understanding. We are in a Grand Suite so we have the full breakfast, lunch, dinner menu available from room service at no charge. Yes?

We are on Majesty of the Seas and, yes, hubby will want a FULL breakfast - his favorite meal of the day. I guess we can just order room service every morning!!

Title says it all. How late can we get up and out and still find a good breakfast? We are suite level so we can always order in but for the days I want to go to the dining room?

And i’m a seltzer drinker plus love specialty coffees. Haven’t seen a drink package sale for our cruise yet, currently $50 each, but i will keep looking. Daughter & hubby are firmly in the “buy the drink package” camp!

Hmm, if we get a couple of free drinks each per night, might make more sense to buy the refreshment package & pay out of pocket for anything else.

And might that be on a nightly basis? As that would impact our choice of drink packages.

on Majesty of the Seas. I think I've asked this before but am old and senile and can't find or remember the answer!!!

and of course we are going to Cozumel with the problems down there restricting our shore excursion options. The cruise isn't until late October so there is time for all of that to play out but I am getting somewhat concerned that I booked without doing quite enough research first.

New carpets are always nice! I am a little concerned that I chose an older smaller ship for our first cruise in 15 years. Of course my only frame of reference is the Nordic Empress in 2002 so my expectations are not too high!

I read on another website that Majesty of the Seas was going into drydock? Can anyone confirm this? Do we know what they are doing to her?

Not for me ;-( . Price went down $75.00 but I lost $75 in OBC. So its a wash.

RCCL is running an excursion sale for my sailing on Majesty of the Seas in October. I am trying to find an all inclusive beach excursion but am coming up empty (altho there are ones listed for the Bahamas?!?) Any idea if RCCL has such an excursion? If not, do you have any recommendations for reputable places to go?
