Are you doing Cozumel/Costa Maya? I’d love feedback if so. That’s our itinerary in late October. So far planning to wander in Cozumel and are currently waitlisted at Maya Chan in Costa Maya

And now we’re not. Just got an email that they have the resort booked for a private party the day we are in port. I AM SO BUMMED!!!!!

Just booked Maya Chan for our Costa Maya day. It just looks so inviting and seems to have everything we could want. So then I expect we will “wing” Cozumel. Thanks for all the input!

True, and having no experience in this area (been to Canada and Bermuda when no passport needed) I will probably err on the side of my stuff stays with me.

I don’t know guys, and certainly you have WAY more experience with this, i feel like my drivers license, my CC, my phone and my passport should be with me whenever i leave the cocoon of the ship. Guess i’ll just have to think on it!

So if you get stuck in port, the authorities are going to accept a picture of your passport? Why bring it at all then?

I have been wondering the same thing. Technically on a closed loop cruise (out & into the same US port) to the Caribbean, you don’t need a passport at all correct? The arguments for the passport all seem to center around having to get home from the destination if you miss the ship. Well if i leave my passport on board and i’m still on land, what good does it do me???

We’ve have them at our local Wendys for a few years now. Love that i can get my diet ginger ale! Found them quite good and haven’t noticed any taste “contamination” issues.

So are cans covered in the deluxe package? And where might one find cans. I like to have a few in the room fridge.

Can i ask how you liked the ship? Food? Entertainment? We are cruising on Majesty in October.

If you want diet soda, its either a package or pay per drink

In port from 7am to 6pm so not sure what the rush is about. But i know we wont enjoy the early start time. I will look for something else, maybe not booked through RCCL.

So I’m back to I don’t know what to plan. I really wanted to go snorkeling but not that early.
