If you want an hour of it to yourself, you can book one of the private lessons and then when you are on the ship tell them you don’t need the lesson just want it rented out. It’s about $100-$150 cheaper than the lesson and you have it to yourself for the hour. I did this on Utopia and it was $346. Worth it with the 1 flowrider and not a lot of times for advanced standup riders

Are you going to try Royal Railway on your next sailing? Not sure the wife would like the menu, as she seems to eat like me. I did like the short rib though. It was a cool thing to experience once, but not sure I would book it again. Did a chefs table once and that was enough for me. Hoping to try Lincoln Supper Club on Star in a couple months. Looked like they will have Prime Rib which I love.

Cruising with my kids(who ditch me) and not my wife I feel this some. I have the flowrider that keeps me busy for part of the day and the casino at night, but definitely several hours where I kind of just don’t know what to do

If you are self assist walk off and want to get off early better line up pretty early. We got in line about 6:15 and we’re already back to the dining room. The line appears to go out to the track. Started leaving at 6:45

Haven’t really posted anything last few days as it’s been basically just repeating from first cruise. Had same meals in MDR except the beef tenderloin was an option on night 2 menu, and then just been flowriding and donating to the casino. Casino has been killing me this cruise. Did go to Mason Jar today for brunch though. The chicken sandwich was really good! The red velvet pancakes were not good. I felt I tried them once before and they were decent, but these tasted bad. The kid had the burger and said it was really good but only ate about half of it. Right now we are just gliding around at 8 knots down around Miami taking the long way home from Coco Cay since we had a sea day today. The seas have been really calm all week. Haven’t felt any motion. If I wasn’t sitting on my balcony watching the ocean right now it wouldn’t even feel like we were on a ship.

He’s on the ship and working I know but haven’t talked to him. Will try and track him down and ask how he’s doing

Yeah he was telling me about that when I talked to him the other day. A dry tear duct he said. You could tell it was bothering him. Hope he gets something to help it today

They were calling specific names by 9:10 of you weren’t off the ship. There was about a dozen of them. And something caused them to even start disembarking late today. It was about 7:15 when they called first luggage tags. But before 10 people were already boarding. It’s amazing they can do that here and Miami always seems to be 11 at the earliest

In dining room waiting to depart. They just announced our staterooms would be ready by 11am so that’s good. Would have been great to not have to switch rooms and pack this morning, but I will survive.

This appeared to work. The kid went to cafe promenade this morning and got a specialty coffee and Red Bull with his diamond vouchers

The lasagna is delicious!!! And yeah the 1 time I was Star Class I felt like I didn’t stop eating. It was way too much food. Not to mention the “snacks” the genie kept sending

I think Giovanni’s might be my favorite specialty dining on Royal. It never fails to be amazing

Yeah the fans aren’t doing a ton, but we are right by the door so get a little burst of AC every time it opens. It’s a little warm, probably wouldn’t want to sit out here July and August, but it’s not hateful tonight.

I really like the Giovanni’s location on this ship. Dinner outside with a great view for sail away
