I am wondering the what the likelihood of our excursion stopping in Akumal and Tulum getting cancelled is. Part of the trip was already changed with the closure of Wah Wah Beach Bar.

Wow, thank you so much for providing all that great information! I guess I'll be most worried about the noise above us. However, I'm wondering how bad it would be at 11-11:30pm. We are usually up pretty early, about 6 or 7am, so I feel that would not be too bad. I'm guessing for the most part our location isn't too awful! Thank you!

Our Enchantment cruise was cancelled so I took the plunge and booked a longer cruise that will be on the Liberty of the Seas. Since I'm shelling out more money, I'm hoping the room the RC agent assigned us was a good one since I didn't have access to the deck plans at the time. We are currently assigned to room 3325. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about this room. Do you believe it will be fairly quiet most of the time? It's right next to the art gallery. I always worry about noise above us since the last time we cruise we were under a gym! Any other advice you'd like to give would be appreciated! I am very nervous about this cruise since I didn't plan on booking a cruise that was a little more over my original budget...so I'm hoping it will be worth it! Would love to hear about the food quality and things you've enjoyed from those that have already sailed Liberty.

We had major issues with our cruise planner too...we had a remaining balance showing a completely difference balance (of almost $1,000 more than what we booked!!!) I called immediately and got it fixed. They said that it 'happens all the time' and that it 'was just a glitch' REALLY concerning. Those kind of glitches should not be happening! They REALLY need to get their website together. As a cruiser coming back to them after years, it makes me not want to sail with them when they can't even get their website working properly...showing a remaining balance of almost $1,000?! Really scary. Imagine if it was the day the final payment was due and I was scrambling to call them in a panic. Royal already has caused some serious trust issues with me. It's honestly unbelievable their website is so poorly put together like this. It should NOT be having this many issues. I never experienced anything like this on the Carnival website. Oh man, Royal's website gives me some serious anxiety...definitely not a feeling I want to experience before my cruise...

My final payment date is October 2018, so I have a bit, heh... I haven't sailed with RCI in awhile so was unsure with how their rates worked, but with Carnival in the past, they didn't always honor their price changes like they said they would. I called RCI and got the $135 price difference (it included the $76 OBC), and the booking agent was really pleasant to talk to. A side note, every time I've called RCI, their agents have been SO pleasant to speak to. This has not always been my experience with other lines in the past. I really have to give them props for this.

I priced my cruise, and now it's $59 less for me...can I call them and request the price difference because of the WOW sale? I booked during the BOGO sale last Sunday. I'm pretty upset. I paid a little over $1074, and now our cruise cost would be just over $1015 ...so I wouldn't mind saving that money some way or another to go towards a drink package. (I DID book the refundable deposit, if that makes any difference)

Thank you all for your replies! I guess I will keep an eye on what happens around November/December and see what the news is after then! Of course it would be neat if they happened to add some kind of new features, but I definitely am most excited about the refreshing of exterior and interior of the ship. I was kind of hoping the rooms would get a touch-up (I may be hoping for too much here, heh).

Hello everyone! I'm pretty new to the forum (okay, REALLY new) so bear with me here. I'm taking my first cruise with RCI since 2002, and I know A LOT has changed. I'm really excited to be sailing the Enchantment out of Galveston, and I heard a rumor that it will be going into dry dock before it arrives this year or possibly in early 2018. Is this true? And if so, does anyone know what the dry dock is for? Just basic maintenance before it moves to Galveston or are they planning some upgrading of the ship since I know it's one of their older ships and hasn't really gotten any renovating since 2005 (maybe I'm incorrect on that)? I'd love to see a little refreshing of the ship before I board, so I was wondering if anyone knew any gossip about the dry dock. I know, I know, I have over a year away. I'm the kind of person that books way way waaaay too far in advance and then thinks non-stop about the cruise daily. Agh.
