My first trip will be on the Navigator in Sept 2014. So I am patiently (ha) waiting.

I would take a 4 or 5 day cruise but I am with Matt, the time off from work and air fare are killers. So it is 7 or more for me.

I normally do not use a TA. This time I did. She not only found me a great stateroom (AFT) she is having Champagne and strawberries waiting in my stateroom. :)

On my last cruise, a man was smoking a bit fat cigar on his balcony. The odor and smoke came into my balcony and ruined my breakfast. I have to laugh at the sight of smokers on one side of the ship puffing away. All I can think of is when the watch would come across the 1MC and state the smoking lamp was lit. Yep, good ole Navy days. But smoking is on the down trend in the US. There are more of us non-smokers who are now being heard and our concerns are being addressed.

That's good news for me since I usually go solo. Now that I am going on RCCL, someone else wants to go with me.

Hmmm now that is an idea. Specialty restaurant in lieu of formal night. Sign me up. Is there a place where I can find what night is what? Like night 2 is formal, night 4 is dressier casual, etc. Makes packing so much easier.

Hi, my name is Susan and cruising is in my blood. I have taken one cruise last year on my birthday, and next year on my birthday I will taking the Navigator of the Seas. This will be fun. I have also "cruised" on the USS Nimitz from 1995-97. Trust me this will be much more fun!
