Please someone explain the point rollover - TY

I'm not good with math and have never thought about points, maybe I just play enough to not think about it on other lines.

I'm new to Casino Royal, took my only RC (paid) 6 months ago and haven't taken a RC comp cruise yet but have two booked (Jun/Jul)

I don't understand how the roll over works - how did 12000 points just poof; I thought the points carried over for at least a year and transferred from ship to ship.
(Went from getting Jr Suite/Balcony offers every other day to just one single inside?) (Inside is fine with me)

Thanks for explaining it.

The casino year runs April 1 through March 31..still spans a year but the points reset to 0 on April 1 and you have to start earning your tier level all over again for the current casino year (which gives you benefits for the next casino year).

Like Ashley said, the "casino year" has that Apr. 1 - Mar. 31 span.

When March 31st rolls around each year, your point balance zeros out, but you keep the previous years status. So at 12k points you earned Prime "last year" which you will keep until March 31st of 2025 even with your current balance being at 0. If you want to maintain Prime status for after Match 31st of 2025, you would need to earn at least 2500 points again before March 31st of 2025.

With regards to the offers, you should still get some decent offers around the fleet - especially if you don't mind interior rooms. Like today you should get your annual reward certificate per the offer page which is good for up to a 7 night cruise with some exclusions.

  • PRIME (13,999-7,600 TC) - APRIL 17TH, PM

Given that you got 12k points in a single cruise, I wouldn't be surprised if you got Signature (25k points) between your two upcoming cruises haha.

Regardless, hope this helps! Best of luck!

Thanks Ashley, so I am still prime, just starting over... I only need 2500? Wish I knew that before... it's just so fun 😂🤣😁

Yes that helps very much.  That was too much, I'd never counted points, NCL and Carnival just hand them out for interiors.

Now I know 2500 is enough and I'm happy with a promenade interior 😁🤣😂

2500 gets you prime status for the year which will be good through the following casino year.

But on an individual cruise you can earn an instant certificate for a little as 1200 points currently. The 1200 point offer is limited to a select list of cruises and you have to put a deposit down onboard at NextCruise to redeem.

The casino host desk will have a list of all the instant certificates and what you can earn at the various point levels on your cruise. If you cash in the points for free play they still count towards your yearly and your individual sailing account.

You also will get offers through the year that you can look up at clubroyaleoffers.com.

Wow, GTK.  Matt was explaining some of this the other day and it's making more sense.  I've never had more than an inside offered. You are a wealth of knowledge 🥉🙏
