Karchie178
Traveling in November on freedom of the seas to st Maarten, st Thomas, and st kitts. Would like to do a beach day on one of the islands but wasn’t sure which island is best. We are traveling with a 1yr old and a 5 yr old. I wasn’t sure how grabbing a taxi would be with the kids. Ship excursions only go to the beach for like 2 hours
fa-li
We had a good experience at Secret Harbor in St. Thomas with Aqua Action. I did a long review on it when I got back, over on cruise critic https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2923708-review-for-chair-rental-at-secret-harbor/#comment-65006394 if you want to read all the details. I think it would be a very good beach for young children. The water is protected, calm, and shallow. I don't think they had sand toys, but you may know that you can purchase collapsible buckets on amazon to take in your luggage. Peter D
St Maarten is very easy to get to beach at Philipsburg. Just plan to take water taxi right off ship to Great Bay beach. It may not be the best beach option of the locations you are traveling to, but extremely easy to get to and its not bad.
