It will be our first time in Italy and Greece and the fact that it begins in Rome and ends in Athens is very convenient so we can spend some pre and post days in each respective city. I haven’t done much investigating on the ports yet but I’m thinking about spending three days prior to the cruise in Rome and three days post cruise in Athens. I was an anthropology major in college and I’ve wanted to visit Rome and Athens forever. Already started a “must see” list for those two cities. Very excited!
