Dana Moreland
I am sailing on the Wonder of the Seas in Feb 2024 and I was looking for some recent detailed information about the rock climbing. I am 65 and and have recently taken up rock climbing. How long is the typical wait to climb? Can you get more than one climb in during an hour? I noticed that there are two walls. Are they both open at the same time, or at different times? How many different routes are there? How difficult are the routes? What is the hardest rating (ex 5a or 5.8)? Can you bring and use your own shoes or do you have to use theirs? It says to wear t-shirt and shorts. Can you wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, like yoga or sweets, especially at night? How does the Speed Climbing event work. Do you race each other up the wall, or does everyone climb the same route for best time? Are there different age groups for the speed climbing event? Thanks for the information.

I've seen no wait, and then long waits. Just depends on weather, what else is happening, etc. 23 hours ago, Dana Moreland said: Can you get more than one climb in during an hour? Sure, if the line isn't too long 23 hours ago, Dana Moreland said: How many different routes are there? How difficult are the routes? Three difficulties, if I recall correcty

Wheeler825
Routes are very easy. Think 5.7 or 5.8 at the very most.
