MTD reservations on APP have disappeared

We have been using MTD for several years.

I made our reservation in the APP on recent Vision cruise.  However, when we arrived on the ship I noticed that our reservations were no longer on there.  Earliest time was 8:30 and due to health issues I am unable to dine that late.

We went the dining room once we embarked and I quietly explained to the person there what my circumstances were.  He abruptly interrupted me and said we could show up, but we might not be seated.   This cruise was probably less than 1/2 full.

We returned, spoke to another staff member, was treated kindly and every night we arrived and was given the same table, the same wait staff.

Fast forward to our cruise in 2 weeks.  Once again our MTD reservations have disappeared.

Can we just "show up" and be willing to wait for a table?  We do not mind at all.
